I eat lots of eggs, cottage cheese, tofu, tempeh. Lentils and beans are good too. Check out which veggies have protein and work those into your diets everything adds up.

Everyone's body and goals are different. OP looks great at 175-and if she feels good that's even more important. I have two sisters and we are all between 5'7"-5'8". My sisters are both naturally thin-about 110-115 lbs and are healthy and look great. I have always been heavier than them and weigh about 140 right now and…

5'7.5" here. I weigh about 132 right now and have an average/medium frame size. I feel pretty comfortable at this weight but still have a little fluff on me that I would like to trim down. My goal is to get down to 125ish.

Yes. He knows where I started and where I am at now. I know his as well. Not really a big deal.

I agree with what other smokers have said-change your strain or have an activity planned for after you smoke. I like smoking pre workout or before I eat a healthy satisfying meal. It can be a bit of a mental game but once you find the balance it gets easy.

Hi there! I am 5'7, 27 and about 128 lbs right now. I have been using MFP since January and have lost almost 20 lbs. My goal is to lose a few more pounds and then focus on building a bit of muscle. I have been a vegetarian for the last ten years-although I do occasionally eat fresh seafood now that I live near the ocean.…

About ten pounds for me, although I only had about 20 to lose total. I am now about 2 away from my goal :) I went from a tight 6 to very comfortable 4 and I think thats as low as my hips and bust will allow me to go. I'll second the eBay recommendation. You can find nicer brands in excellent condition for a fraction of the…

Drinking hot liquid can aid with digestion/constipation. That being said its not better for you hot or cold-it's just whatever your preference.

One of my first goal was to get under 140 lbs and now its to get under 130 lbs or about 20% body fat. My other goals include keeping up with the fit people in my family, being in the best shape of my life when I turn 30 and probably start having babies and looking good naked ;) For reference I'm 5'7.5 and started at 153…

I am :) I am about 5ish pounds from my goal so I am losing slowly-averaging about .5-.75 lbs a week. 1600 is the point were I feel it's a sustainable deficit. I would much rather lose slowly than get frustrated starving myself and give up.

Do you mind if I add you to friends then? ^_^[/quote] But of course :)

You look awesome! And for comparison we started about the same time,1/15, and with similar starting points and I have lost 12.5 lbs during that time.

5'7.5" started in the high 140's, currently 136-137, with a goal of 128. Less than 10 lbs to go, wahoo!!

Ice cream. One tiny serving every night. I always prolog it in the morning to make it fit into my goals :)

Homemade deep dish pizza and roasted kale. And I am counting the hours till dinner.

Eat all the veggies! As others have pointed out veggies taste better while they are in season. Also veggies taste waaaay better when they are seasoned with salt and pepper and maybe some lemon :)

I watch cooking shows all.the.time. I'm addicted to them, heh. When I cook/clean they are always on. I find them inspirational and they get my creative mind juices flowing :) There are always ways to modify and make healthier/lower calorie options. Tonight for dinner is homemade thin crust pizza-and I will make it fit…

As much as you enjoy-the benefits are awesome. Currently I do it 1-2 times a week with the length varying from 15 minutes to 1 hour but I am trying to get this up to 3-4 times a week because it makes my body feel wonderful.

I downloaded the runkeeper app and programed in C25K weekly runs. Its syncs my runs with MFP and gives stats for time/distance/speed and estimated calories burned. There are also a few other similar apps that will do the same thing.

Try it with a frozen banana!

My stats are similar to yours OP: I am 5'7.5, my current weight is 143, 34-28-36, with a soft goal of 135 and ultimate goal of 130. Currently I am exercising 6-7 days a week doing a mixture of cardio and strength training for 30-40 minutes. I am also trying to add some yoga to the mix more regularly. My net calories are…

I'm always happy for more vegetarian friends :)

Hi! I also have a bit of relationship weight to loose. I was married this spring and gained over 10 lbs just on my honeymoon! Needless to say I came to MFP to help me loose it. We have similar goals and it would be great to cheer each other along the way! I have sent you a friend add

Hi all, I am a 26 year old female tying to loose 15 lbs or so, get stronger, and of course healthier. I have been using MFP for almost 3 weeks to track but am looking to get involved in the community as well. Any and all friends are welcome!
