  • We do steel cut oats for oatmeal with a little dried fruit in the fall and winter, then switch to granola with yogurt in the spring/summer. Oatmeal: Granola: 1/4 cup each Back to Nature classic & Chocolate with 1 serving Activia lite (strawberry or vanilla) - around 280 calories Oatmeal: Steel cut oats 1/4 cup dry, dried…
  • Enell works for me. I have a size 2 with a 34GG bra size for regular day ware bras. I own three of them in progressively smaller sizes over the last two years. I can jog, zumba, yoga, and rough house with my son in them. Also make a great break from underwire, which I use normally.

  • That extra weight could be stress too. Give it a few days to settle back out.
  • This is the second post I have seen regarding having a bad week last week and not really caring anymore for a bit. I am so glad it wasn't just me! At least I was in good company. My food this weekend made the tastebuds happy and satisfied many cravings. The walking around got my body going again, so exercise is fun again.…

  • Girl's day out Saturday - great tasting acaia pomegranate mohito with half order of marinara spaghetti squash (tried to be good) and garlic cheese biscuits Grilled at our house and my friends' contributions were potato salad and s'more fixings. I broke down and had two.
  • Something I have noticed with the Wii board is that the scale varies based aon the flooring it is on. I moved mine from the carpeted floor to my son's foam play mats and the difference was about 10+ lbs. You also get a difference between normal weigh in and the quick version of about 3 lbs. That being said, my mii was…

  • A friend requests sent out to TEAM NINE- heatherlfulton, lyla29 , Bethaniek , missoik Any ideas for a team name?
  • I would like to join too. More encouragement to get up and get moving would be great. A couple of questions: 1) How do people normally convert a pedometer step count to mileage? Alternately, what are people going to track the number of miles with? 2) Cut off time for the log in days with a time zone listed so that we know.…
  • I can understand as the last two weeks have been bad ones for me. Just know that tomorrow is a new day and that you can do it. From what I have read it is actually encouraged to blow it every now and then. Drink lots of water, take a deep breath and get some healthy food that makes you feel better tomorow. Have a great…
  • How many of the calories should we eat back? I though we wanted to have extra at the end of the day after exercising. Example: Start with 1200, exercise for 275 calories. Eat 1200-1300 and have the other 100+ left.
  • Cuties (Clementines) are compact sources and really easy to peel. Grapes, cherries, and berries are easy as you just wash and go. Pineapple pre-cut and ready to eat Baby Carrots, carrot sticks, celery sticks Cucumber & tomato salad (a little bit of baslamic vinegar goes well with this) Note to all - a vinegar and water mix…
  • If you enjoy them, asparagus and spaghetti squash are tasty and great fillers. You can eat lots of them and only have a few calories.
  • Edemame...also known as Soy beans. Frozen isle and just steam and each kinda like popcorn, but better.
  • Spaghetti squash, asparagus, salmon filets (Walmart has a great deal), baby carrots, Healthy Choice Steamer meals, Thin bagels for the bread fix, broccoli, whole grain wheat pastas (moderation of course), ... I like smketchum's list really well.
  • Ah! Irish Nachos! Sliced skillet cooked potatoes smothered in cheese, bacon, chives, and ranch dressing to dip it all into. Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies (You mean I was supposed to share?!?!?) Ben & Jerry's Half-Baked Icecream....I would eat all in one sitting instead of the 4-6 listed on the side of the carton.
