  • And tells you that you have to eat 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight.
  • I eat candy bars, drink soda, eat chips, go to Taco Bell.... I've lost 30 lbs in just over a couple months. If you don't indulge your cravings every now and again, or if you try and restrict your diet too much, you will break your diet. As long as you are eating within your calorie limit, clean or dirty doesn't matter. Try…
  • I don't really see the reason to take it in the first place. Sure, it is a protein shake with some amino acids mixed into it that gives you some protein and fat calories to replace a meal. Why not just have a meal and build a supplement plan to match your individual needs? An egg (or two), a turkey sausage or a small…
  • But did you get all the delicious protein that these pancakes give you to keep you full for several hours? What about all the tasty potassium? calories are not the selling point here, it is the fact that they are super nutritious instead of the traditional empty carbs you get from pancakes.
  • I was referring to your practice of not hiring fat people just because they are fat. A hindrance to a job where you are working in an office? Or a hindrance to your personal tastes? [/quote] No, I just hate ignorance, especially when it comes from ignorant people who feel they need to try to hurt the feelings of others…
  • I make these all the time with one egg per banana. They taste a lot like banana bread. Sometimes I add oatmeal for a little more substantive meal. I think in the future, I'll try them in a 2:1 ratio as others have suggested. Currently they are a little sweet for me.
  • Meat at your butcher is just the same as meat at your grocer. The butcher will get you fresher cuts, and a wider variety of cuts, but... the cows that your butcher carves up are no different than the cows that are carved up for the grocery store.
  • Thanks. I just ate dinner.... and now I'm hungry again. I don't see what the problem is. Those operations appear to be models of efficiency and cleanliness.
  • I'm afraid that I, and a good amount of research would disagree with you. While some research suggests Aspartame dodges the glucose bullet, and that the effects are limited to sucralose and other such sweeteners, much of the research also demonstrates a placebo effect from the Aspartame, and that subject's glucose levels…
  • Find yourself a new doctor.
  • I think a lot of people don't want to mention it because they may worry that they'll offend you if you actually haven't or if you aren't actually dieting. Others may be shy about complimenting people.
  • Well, that's going to get you and your company sued. I truly hope someone you work for or have refused a job offer sees this and figures out it is you some day. I'm overweight and in significantly better condition than most people I know, and I know TONS of fit young college students. That's because you are an ignorant…
  • Any chance I could talk you out of fad dieting entirely and into portion control, eating healthy, and exercising?
  • What I had last night... On a hot skillet or wok. 1 tbsp of sesame oil or peanut oil. 3 oz of peeled, de-veined shrimp without the tails 1 oz of sliced almonds 1 cup of chopped broccoli 3 tbsp soy sauce (I used ponzu, which is a soy sauce citrus blend) 1 minced garlic clove 2 oz udon noodles 1 teaspoon curry paste…
  • Also consider that your work outs could be adding muscle to your body, in which case you are still losing fat and getting into better shape. 1800 calories per day is the amount you would need to maintain your weight at a sedentary activity level assuming a normal metabolic rate. You may also want to review your diet. Are…
