This.. Except I went from 38E to 28H. I found a local boutique that can take all my money and order handmade Ewa Michalak bras for me, otherwise I'd be wearing duct tape.

I got tagged in a picture that wasn't myspace angled in the same week my father (who had type 2 diabetes since I was a kid) died during his 17th heart attack at 60. The mixture of my ego getting punched by the reality of being almost 300lbs and having to explain to my daughter that her grandfather wouldn't be around…

Same here.. I haven't laughed this hard at a thread in awhile :D

I'm 5'7, started at 295lbs. I honestly didn't see a difference in the mirror for about 60lbs bc I look at myself every day and it was like trying to watch my hair grow.. The best advice I got early on was to take unflattering/brutally honest progress pictures every week in the same clothes (or lack of). That way I could…

I started at 297 and (two years later) am at 165. Here's what worked for me: - I methodically threw out every piece of "diet advice" that I saw on TV. All of it. - I spent $12 and bought a digital food scale from Amazon. - Before I changed anything, I spent about two weeks getting into the habit of weighing and tracking…

5'7 SW: 297 CW: 165, 24%bf, 38-27-39 GW: Maybe 155ish? Not looking to lose much more. The weight loss took two years, heavy lifting 3 to 6 times a week, HIIT when I'm feelin frisky, IIFYM, cookies.

Exactly. I lost 130lbs, and it wasn't until the last 40 that my hips and thighs finally got with the program. Just trust the process and be patient

For accuracy's sake, find the hardest floor surface and use the same spot everytime for the scales. I use a certain tile in the bathroom to line mine up, maybe you have a mark on the floor to use too? That being said, I also weigh myself on the carpet in my bedroom just to see the number sometimes. Instant 20lb weightloss!…

OP - It's not up to you to determine who gets to feel fat and who doesn't. Focus on your own body & how you feel about it and ignore this person if her comments about herself bother you that much.

32H checking in, my favorite brands right now are Anita and Panache. Good luck!

I've had that same scale for 2 years, no issues at all. And it's not expensive, which is always a plus

When I first started losing weight, the only workout equipment I had was a pair of Nikes and one 10lb dumbbell. My best friend lost weight at the same rate and didn't exercise at all. Like other people have said, the main thing is a caloric deficit. How you get that deficit is up to you.

Not gonna lie, I smacked my forehead when I read the title and thought "MEASURE YOURSELF" But this is kinda interesting given the circumstances, and honestly - I'm not sure. 2 inches shouldnt change BMI *too much*, since it's more of a range than an exact number. I'd say pick a weight that's in the healthy range for both…

I'm Khat - 33 but I usually lie about that, single mom, medical student.. Lost 75ish lbs this year and am now more or less on maintainence. I'm one of those IIFYM weightlifting weirdos whose well on her way to being a full blown meathead and doesnt think being healthy should be torture. (My pre-workout today was an apple…

The second season of Orange is so awesome - I binge watched it the night it came out.. Then I had to watch Tank Girl bc of Lori Petty  Aside from that, I'm a Game of Thrones addict.. And always down for any horror movie that looks like it had a $10 budget

Adding you  It's always good to have support!
