  • What's left to eat? Of course you'll lose weight if you don't eat anything, ever.
  • First of all, congratulations on your current weight loss. As far as i recall, most people complete C25K in 30 days, but it is designed to be flexible. It contains several stages of increasing difficulty, and you're not supposed to move on to the next stage until you've mastered the one you're on. A lot will depend on you,…
  • Yes, I'm going to be over my calorie goal. by A LOT. I mean an absolutely massive amount. But I'll be back to healthy eating tomorrow. One day of massive calorie intake won't kill me, right?
  • Ditto what this guy said. I eat every 3-4 hours.
  • I'll be logging and exercising, I just know my calorie count will be WAY over my goal. But I don't care. I haven't had a real cheat day in a month or two, so I feel a need to treat myself a bit. One day isn't going to ruin months of hard work. Just back to the healthy way of life on the 26th.
  • Where's the 'like' button? I think we've all wanted to magic away the fat at one point, but none of us have. That's why we're on MFP. It's certainly the closest I've ever come to magicking away the fat.
  • Anything you do on one leg or in a plank position will improve your core strength. I don't even have an ab routine right now, but I still have sore abs most days from all the plank/one-legged exercises that are working my core. This has the added benefit that it improves your balance and makes you a better overall athlete.
  • For breakfast, I switch back and forth between cold cereal with milk; eggs, sausage, toast and jam; and oatmeal mixed with water. I do a few days of one, and then switch to another. Snacks tend to be salami, sausage, fruit and nuts. Yoghurt also features prominently in my diet. Cottage cheese did, too, for a while, but I…
  • On the high end, beans and tortillas as far as calories were concerned. Meat always shocks me by being lower in calories than I think. Nuts were a shock for their fat content, but I eventually worked out that they're a healthy source of fat, and you need fat in your diet. Speaking of which, I have a bowl of pistachios for…
  • A couple of things spring to mind here. First, how much water are you drinking? If you're not getting enough water, it raises the sodium concentration in your body, causing it to retain more water, causing you to gain weight. The second thought is that you're always eating the same thing. Your body is quite good at…
  • Hi Jillatha, I can't seem to find my Insanity workout sheet, but most of those numbers seem pretty close to the ones I had in the beginning. I weighed a bit more, but I'm also taller, and a guy, so that makes a bit of difference. I also did Insanity after I finished P90X. I can't see you having any major problems with…
  • I'm finishing up week 3 of P90X2 today (Tuesday). I got a little off this week because I decided to go play tennis and volleyball a couple of days instead of the X2 routine. I'm going to do one more week of X2 phase 1 before moving on to phase 2. Nutrition wise, I've decided to go on maintenance calories, which should add…
  • I didn't follow any specific diet plan while on Insanity; I just stuck to my MFP goals, and I lost quite a bit of weight. I also lost more when I started eating back my exercise calories. I also didn't use any recovery formula, protein supplements or shakeology. I prefer to get my nutrients from eating a wide variety of…
  • I'm on week 1, day 4. Add me! I love workout buddies!
  • Good luck! I know it's doing me a lot of good. I've finished every workout looking like I've just walked through a hurricane.
  • I couldn't help myself. I tried my best to put off Insanity until Monday, but it was just too tempting. Fit test done! The next 60 days of getting into the best shape of my life have begun!
  • Yoga x done last night, and that's the end of P90X (for now)! Here's how the numbers stack up. Lost 11.2kg (~25lbs) Waist shrunk by 3.5" Hips shrunk by 3" Neck shrunk by 0.75" You can find before and after pics on my profile. Happy Xing! Insanity starts Monday!
  • I'm not sure about swapping them, but the cardio x disc is supplementary. It's not actually required for any portion of the program. I put it in when I thought I hadn't burned enough calories, or just had some extra time and energy. I'm starting Insanity next week, and will let you know then if I think the core discs are…
  • Day 89/90 - core synergistics done!
  • Day 88/90 - x stretch done! I had a good three days off, and really enjoyed my time outside the city. That said, I feel much better now that I've had a day of healthy food (eating habits weren't great on vacation, but I was with friends so there wasn't a whole lot I could do about it), a 5k run (to test out the new…
  • Day 87/90 - kenpo x done! i'm out of town for the next three days taking a much needed vacation. I'll resume my count on sunday.
  • Day 86/90 - core synergistics done!
  • Yep, I'm on day 85/90. I just finished yoga x. And I've also seen a lot of improvement in every aspect P90X targets. Though I'm actually most proud of the improvements I've made in yoga. The flexibility, balance and core strength I have are the parts of this program that I value most. The biceps are nice, but I'm pretty…
