Sounds like you're on track for success. Great snack ideas SOOZIE. Try and have fiber with your fat. I snack on bars a lot because they are convenient but I'll also have cheese sticks, greek yogurt (phase 2), nuts (really watch portions on this one). Keep it up.

My RunKeeper account is linked here and when I complete my jog it will add those calories I burned into my diary and my remaining calories for the day goes up. Interesting blog. I have done Atkins for about three years. I don't use it as a diet but as a way of life and plan on always eating this way even when I reach my goal weight. Contrary to popular belief, I eat more VEG now than I have ever in my life and avoid "empty calories" like the plague. Great blog :)

3 to 5 lbs. I do the same. Then you begin to find out what foods "bloat" you. Drink a lot of water and it will control some of that.

VirginPulse is a wellness program my job uses to earn points for insurance money. MFP also links up with VirginPulse so I'm all connected. And it tracks stairs too! Really cool. Here is my issue with sugar. It's everywhere, added sugar is in 90% of products in your grocery store. For me personally, I can't just have one piece of cake, one potato chip, one chocolate bar. For me if I'm controlling Calories in vs. Energy used, then controlling cravings is essential in controlling calories. I don't "avoid a food completely" just because I CONTROL my carbs. Simple sugars digest quickly into your bloodstream, get used up fast and cause cravings. Complex sugars take longer to digest therefore lowering impact on your blood sugar minimizing cravings. If too much glucose is in your bloodstream it is stored as fat.

Yup, that's what I do. It'll be your lightest weight as you lose moisture with every breath you take and natural perspiration throughout the night. And then going to the bathroom makes you even lighter. I will gain 1 to 5 lbs. during the day.

I'm classic Atkins and it works too :smile: I may not be at my goal weight but more importantly my blood work rocks.:happy: Keep up the lifestyle. You'll see the difference in how you feel if you stray or go off. And that's also motivation to keep it going. :bigsmile:
