I try to achieve 800-1500 a day.

I use massages as a goal reward! I never use food anymore. Also I do not try to look at as a diet. I eat what I want and when I want it and log every bite. I just make sure it all fits in my daily calorie goal!

3 slices of light wheat toast, 3 tbsp of Better N Peanut butter low sodium and 33gm of sugar free blackberry jam. All for 300 calories and very filling!

I just lost 5 pounds reading this thread! But may have been that I had a green tea and artichoke smoothie while using a shake a weight. Personally, I can not believe they would give advise like they did. Obviously they do not know the magic of professionally designed weight loss products!

Light sour cream works too. I used that tonight to make tartar sauce for a fish sandwich.

I am just over 300 pounds, I just started with some weights to help tighten up my arms a bit. Nothing heavy yet but I plan to go hardcore on the weights once I hit my goal of 250 lbs

I use the Mio Active Connect. I love it. It is almost exact to what the machines at the gym say for a calorie count.

I had often felt the same way at the gym. But, you will notice they start giving you respect as you continue to workout! I even got a fist bump tonight from one of the other regulars!

For years I worked a manual labor job up until I had a hip replacement back in 2000. I could eat 5000 calories a day and not gain. After, I was unable to go back to manual labor and started doing office work and I was not able to shut off the eating habits.

Land o Lakes 2% Cottage Cheese W/Sea Salt. Throw a .25 cup of that on your salad and its only 45 calories and 125mg of sodium

The bike works for me! I try to maintain 14-17 mph on the fatburn setting while the resistance goes up and down. 35-40 min I can maintain my heart rate at about 145.. So yes, it is REAL exercise. Then again, walking to the copy machine is real exercise!

40-90 min for me. At this point I am doing all cardio. Once I start the weights I guess I will need to add another 45 min or so.

Thank You all for the kind words and inspiration! BTW I am one of those people that has almost no pictures of myself. My Profile pic was 2 years ago in Mexico. I think I was about 330 at that time. I went up to 371.. I really should see if I can find a before pic and take a new pic tonight.

I do not eat mine back. Everyone is different. you just need to go with what works for you.

I can not speak for the other 2 sites but MFP is higher than what you actually burn. I wear a Mio watch and go by the calorie count that way. MFP is almost always 40-60% higher than what I get off of my Mio.

If you have a water softener you can use potassium pellets in that to add some extra as well.

I have that issue as well. I am never really hungry. In fact it is 2pm here and I have had nothing but a bowl of cereal today I totally forgot about lunch until I saw this post! I always make myself eat. Just a spoon full of peanut butter would help you add protein and calories.
