I weigh everyday just to see how my weight fluctuates although I only record Mondays and Fridays as I tend to sweat it out on weekdays and take a cheat day on the weekends.

Hi! I'm Exequiel but you can call me X. I'm 31 and I've been in MFP for over a year now. And it was the best decision I've ever made. I was at 284 lbs when I started. My goal is to lose 100 lbs and currently halfway through my goal. I look forward too hearing your stories and sharing mine. Let's keep each other motivated!

I tend to go over my caloric intake on my cheat days. Usually 1-2 days a week is a cheat day for me. I tend to go over 2000 during those days but I watch my intake afterwards and paired with 4-5 gym days still managed to lose weight. I got to admit I usually expend 600 to 1000 calories per session. As they say every breath…

These three quotes keeps me motivated. Every breath is a chance to make a better choice. Every plateau is followed by a breakthrough. Consistency is key.

Thank you for the advice. As a beginner, this group has been very helpful. I'm Ex. I embarked on losing weight 6 months ago and it has been a roller coaster ride. I've managed to lose 50 lbs because most of my routine involves cardio, I feel I'm sagging in certain areas. So here I am now. Looking forward to sharing…

I have 3000 cal once a week but still manage to lose weight by regularly going to the gym for the burn. So no need to feel guilty on 1200 calories.
-
Had that. I joined a gym on November last year but started going regularly February this year. After that it's just a matter of motivation and consistency .

Wish mine would flat out. :)

I had those moments as well. Sometimes I'm so busy couldn't workout or maybe something came up last minute like a quick reunion with friends or unplanned date on a weekend. I use this to motivate myself. I tell myself that I has this much now I need to do this much as well. It also helps to have a good support system from…

Hi! I wanna support you on your journey. I started in MFP at 276 lbs but I got to 284 lbs before I started taking getting fit seriously. I had sleep apnea then. Got lot of complaints from my family to my roomies. Now I'm down to 225 lbs. I'm feeling better and sleeping better. I'm planning to be at 220 lbs by the end of…

Mine's about 50 lbs in the last 6 months. That's about 2.1 lbs per week.

Feel free to add me! Would love to share my experiences with losing weight and learn from people who are in the same boat as I am.

My PT told me that this is afterburn. He advise me to cool off after workout if I don't wanna sweat after showering.

Believe it or not, I was on the same boat as you. I am hypertensive and developed arthritis early. It became a struggle for me so much so that I tried slimming tea, slimming coffee, and popular diets but all for nothing. I did lose weight but gained everything back and more. Those were depressing times until I decided…

Hello Natalie! I can truly relate to your story. I'm a 30 year old geologist and very much on the heavy side. I was at 280 lbs when I made my account here in MFP after deciding I had enough and enrolled myself to a nearby gym. Even before I wanted to lose weight but couldn't keep myself motivated until a health scare a few…

I started with MFP when I signed up for gym membership. I was 280 lbs at that time. It was a struggle at first but MFP and people around me keep me motivated. Now I'm down to 245 lbs and there's still 60 lbs to go. Looking forward to meeting friends here who share my struggles in losing the wight and keeping it off.
