I really felt good after reading your post .. yes I'll try to not step on the scale as much and try not to underestimate my intake ! I don't take much pictures more so because I feel even more sad ... but if I don't take them today I won't be able to see the positive change tomorrow

I was thinking that for few weeks but now since last 2 weeks I am getting more and more obsessed with seeing some change on the scale.. I hate being that but its happening ... I tried doing my favorite things, watching fun movies, listening to music but at the end of it I start thinking about this same thing :ohwell:…

Yes I am logging everything and tracking right as well...I don't think I underestimate my intake .. I weigh some of my food not all though.

I am a software professional / team supervisor.. I agree with you 110% about the temptations we are surrounded by at the work. I lost 12lbs last year but reduced my activities by end of the year and ended up gaining back 6lbs.. :( Trying to get back on track as well Feel free to add me in ~

Thank you for your reply I have moved from almost 14:30 min to 15min / mile pace last July to the 12 to 12:30 min/mile pace now For me its a big change.. although my goal is to reach 10min / mile pace and I think the C210K will help me with that.
-
Thank you for your reply I am looking forward to improving my Pace with this as well ..... My plan is once I run 10K with my current speed 12 to 12:30min/mile, I'll restart from W1D1 with the 10min/mile speed

I am in .. would like to know what others are doing to stay on track ~

I was looking at the HRM of the bike and it was 144 max for biking .. for running it goes up to Max 166 for me Does that indicate I am doing it at the right speed?

I do Run / Walk for up to 8-9 miles but then I just can't run .. I get so exhausted and start walking for rest of the 5-6 miles ( I ran max 14 miles at once so far) So when I am doing Run/Walk I could maintain speed up to 13.45 min/mile but then after that it just goes on toss and my overall pace turns out to be worse..…

Thanks I am planning to start C25K from Sunday. This time I'll start from week 4 (3 min jog & 1.5 min walk)
-
Thank you ! I did C25K once but fall right back to walking when I stopped it . I was also thinking of starting with C25K again and go to B210K My workout schedule is 30 min (1 day elliptical ,1 day run on Tue & Thu ) and long runs (> 5miles ) on Sunday. Sometimes I do strength training on one of my weekday training.

Thanks for your support ! I generally workout outdoors mainly because I found treadmill very boring. Only on the days when its worst weather I go indoors. I'll try your suggestion when I go indoors next time. In fact. I did this today morning for 30 min (Run:0.3miles at 5mph Walk 0.15 miles 3.5mph) With 3 min warm up and 2…

Yes I tried Intervals.. I started with 1 min run / 1 min walk intervals. Then increased to 2min run / 1 min walk. I am doing these outdoors most of the time so speed may be around 4.2 mi/hr (According to MapMyRun)

Thanks for your reply ! Yes I am stretching properly because one of my friend who is been running for 5-6 yrs now had taught me those..She told me the same thing to Rest and Ice it and yes my shoes are fitted at the Rouge Running store with the employee there. I am training on roads pretty much flat or very low elevation…

I am training for this since starting of July with my friends. We started with 2 miles and increased the mileage up to here now with some low mileage weeks in between.

That sounds great ! I am in ~ Thanks for the initiative This includes Run / Walk or Only Run?

I am no expert ... but I am in my last week of C25K ! Here are my 2 cents 1. Pace - It differs from person to person. Use the speed that you can maintain comfortably in the running time of C25K 2. Weights on rest days are good or any other cross training like swimming, biking, yoga etc. 3.I do not use hrm so can't say 4. I…

I am on C25K right now but after 5 weeks also I am confused why my pace hasn't improved much ... may be I am going too slow on the jog
-
Yes I try to do weights once a week but I admit that I am no doing it for a long time... may be 30min / week only. Thanks for your suggestion !
-
I am doing C25K as well... Started W6 yesterday ! I like your idea of repeating it with Jog/Run plan.. Thanks for suggestion !

Congrats !! That's awesome ... I did my W5D1 today and was stressed too to finish it as well ! I posted in this community and someone suggested to go slow and it made wonders ... I was able to successfully finish W5D1 and looking forward to other 2 days... I agree with you that "going slow" is the best advise I have ever…
