I get major cramps when I eat egg yolks. I now only eat the whites without any problems. Maybe see if that works for you?

Love it! Thanks

Wow - sorry for writing an essay!

Thanks so much for your comments, all. It's great to have a supportive community here, particularly those that understand the nature of the ball incident. It wouldn't have been so extreme if I wasn't holding weights at the time! My husband is stressed out at the moment and we hardly see each other because he's working…

Not true. I haven't gained back any of my pre-wedding weight. Like I said above, the short term Dukan diet taught me how to value nutrition better. It is always about discipline. If one remains focused on eating the right food in the right quantity, there's no reason to regain the weight from a temporary diet.

Too much muscle = hard to pull men. Check her out: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2128219/The-way-I-look-makes-hard-meet-men-UKs-biggest-female-bodybuilder-reveals-shes-single-years.html :embarassed:

Yes. I did it before my wedding and dropped the final 10lb I was trying to get rid of. It's boring and gets monotonous eating the same things each day, but I had a clear end goal (my wedding day!) so it was worth the effort. The weight slipped off in a matter of weeks and I didn't really feel the nasty effects some people…

Agree. Supplements and good fats. Oh, as well as oodles of water.

Perhaps try substituting the McDonald's junk food for a proper, nutritious meal instead?

No wonder you're always hungry. You have too many simple carbs in your diet. Like others have said, you need to up the protein to stay fuller for longer. Replace the rice in your supper with another strip of chicken and/or more veg. Skip the bran muffin snack - cheese or greek yoghurt instead. Replace the bread in your…

Yes. I burn very few calories at 5", 48kg and a small frame. 10 mins of intense jump rope doesn't even buy me 100 calories :(

Bump!

Hi there - you mentioned high protein, have you looked at the Dukan diet?My sister, who has as a significant amount to lose, is doing really well on it when every other diet failed her. For now, I would focus more on diet and perhaps gentle exercise like pilates. When you've lost more weight your body will find it easier…

I have exactly the same problem. Interested to see if others have had success getting rid of it.

I burn very few calories. 30 mins of high intensity circuit training burns around 150 calls (with background deducted) according to my HRM. Lower weight definitely means less calories burned, so I have to watch my diet more than ever.

Day 7 completed today followed by 6 week 6 pack. Enforced rest day yesterday as I wasn't feeling well. I found day 7 much easier than when I first started. It's just so hot out so that's making me sweat a lot. Im also back on 3kg weights - yaay! Think I will be ready to move on to the next level by day nine. I don't think…

Good news - I took a sneak peek at the scales this morning (after peeing for England) and that extra kg has slid off overnight, so it was just water weight. Phew! :)

Day 6 complete! The workout is definitely getting easier but I sweat a lot today simply because it's so hot in London and the fan in my living room just doesn't cut it! If it gets even easier tomorrow, I might move onto level 2 on day 8. I'm still frustrated by this weight gain, but I've visited the loo loads today and…

I'm putting it down as circuit training too, but the calories offered by MFP are way out compared to my HRM. Be careful!

Gah!! I have gained a whole kg in a week! I read somewhere that people tend to gain weight in the first few days due to water retention. I hope this is only short term as it is so disheartening. I watch and log every calorie and have stuck to exercising religiously so it's horrible to see this much gain. Have vowed not to…

Day 5 complete! I had to reduce the size of my hand weights because my shoulders have been really sore the last couple of days - to the point where I had to do a couple of the strength exercises without weights. As a result, I've been burning less calories according to my HRM, but better to be safe than sorry. I'm a bit…

Just curious to know what size weights you are all using? I started day 1 and 2 on 6lb weights and thought I was going to die! My shoulders obviously couldn't handle that and I was in serious pain for a couple of days. I moved down to 2lb but they just feel too light, particularly now I'm on day 5. I'm going to go and buy…

Hi everyone - I've just completed day 4 of 30 day shred. It felt a lot easier today than the first two days! My shoulders are really sore in the mornings I've been going a little easier with the weights, but in fairness, I was using 3kg weights when the average seems to be 1kg, so I may have overdone it a bit. Straight…

I'm getting married on the 15th in Tuscany! So we both have countryside weddings - so exciting!

Hi! I'm getting married in September too. My DVD just arrived today and I had a go - wow! I can't remember the last time I glowed so much :) Looking forward to seeing some results soon, particularly around my stomach and thighs.
