I too use tortillas instead of bread much of the time. I have tried many of the lower calorie versions. Some are definitely better than others. My favorite is the La Tortilla Factory whole wheat, only 80 calories for a good-size one. They can be hard to find. Costco sometimes carries the mondo pack, which I divide up into…

Coming back to say that I made this for our Tgiving dessert yesterday. It is SO good! I could have eaten the entire thing. It's very light and fluffy. Next time I make it I might mix in a small amount of chopped nuts or maybe top it with some crushed graham crackers, to give it a sort of crust. Thanks again for sharing…

Try Jacques Pepin's Slow and Easy Bread in a Pot: http://onceuponaplaterecipes.blogspot.com/2012/09/jacques-pepins-easy-one-pot-bread.html It really is so easy. You mix up the dough in a nonstick saucepan, let it sit at room temp for an hour, punch it down, put it in the fridge overnight, then bake the bread right in the…

I add a little bit of sugar-free Jello pudding mix. My fave is the cheesecake. Not the healthiest thing, but it tastes soo good, and it's such a small amount. It adds just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.

This sounds really good! What size container of cream cheese did you use?

A few years ago, I used to eat Clif bars occasionally. Then I suddenly got tired of them and didn't appreciate the high calories, either. Recently I've tried some of the new flavors and are giving them a try again. I especially like the Chocolate Almond Fudge and Coconut Chocolate Chip. Of all the brands I've tried, Clif…

I'm always on the lookout for easy meatless meals. Thanks! I wonder how these would work with those cloud breads for buns, which are also on my to-try list.

My favorite way to cook with it so far is in fried rice. OMG, it adds such a heavenly flavor. Drool...

Yum! Will try that one. I've been using a mix of olive oil, vinegar (herb or wine), dijon mustard (which emulsifies the mix nicely), and kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. I doubt I'll ever buy bottled dressing again. Homemade is SO much better.

Those look really good! I'm always looking for new meatless dishes like this. Can't way to try, though I too will have to maybe cut the amount, especially the cheese. Thanks for sharing!

I think that MFP's maintenance calories are too low, at least for me. Once I hit my goal over a month ago and switched to maintenance, I kept losing slowly on MFP's recommended calories. I've even started getting a few "You're getting too skinny" comments from people. I'm scared of gaining weight, but obviously can't keep…

Sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing. My problem is that, unlike most people, I luuuuuv the crust the most. But this sounds like a really good and much healthier pumpkin pie fix.

Victoria Gourmet's Toasted Sesame Ginger blend is absolutely delicious on fish. I first found it for cheap at TJ Maxx of all places, the 5.4-oz jar (which is a lot) for $4. I'm almost out and need to go look for more! http://www.vgourmet.com/Toasted-Sesame-Ginger-Seasoning/p/VIC-00140&c=VictoriaGourmet@SeasoningBlends

Very nice job, OP. You are good at plating, presentation, and the photography, not to mention the cooking! Everything looks so fresh and expertly prepared. Your recipes look wonderful. I have cut out almost all meat since I started MFP.. At first it was simply to save on calories, but now I'm finding that I truly enjoy…

Mayo, regular soda, honey, most meats, thick-crust pizza, heavy cream sauces, and totally agree about the grocery store cakes, donuts, etc. GROSS.

I have done 3 of Jillian's DVDs: 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, and No More Trouble Zones. NMTZ is my favorite because it is more strength-oriented and therefore lower impact. That workout will still kick your butt, though! I am always dripping sweat when I'm done. I just can't take some of the jumping moves in some of her…

My go-to snack is microwave popcorn in a brown paper bag. Three tablespoons makes a good-size bowl and is only 120 calories (I like it plain). Fast and easy and hardly any dirty dishes.

I had a day like that today. I've been so good over the last 6 months and have hit my weight loss goal, so I'm at maintenance. For some reason I was soo hungry all day today. When I got home I headed straight for the leftover mac n' cheese I made the other night. It's definitely not a low-cal meal, but I didn't care and…

This is great! Thanks so much for sharing!

I've been getting similar questions too. I like to say a simple "eat less, move more." It's amazing how people seem to think anyone who has lost noticeable weight (intentionally) has done it any other way.

"Privacy, time management and more economical." This. I've never even been to a gym. I'm an introvert, and it doesn't sound appealing to me at all. Plus, you can get great results! I've been doing a mix of Jillian's DVDs over the past few months and am really surprised at the changes in my body. I'm 52, and I've never been…

While I haven't had anything really horrible, I did not like Yoplait Greek yogurt. WAY too sweet. Also did not care for overnight oats. Mine turned out really slimy. I finally made some black bean brownies the other day, and they were okay, but I could still taste the beans. Plus, they sat like a rock in my stomach. Maybe…

No picture, but I had this smashed chickpea and avocado salad someone posted on here a while back. I had it as a wrap in a low-carb tortilla. Major YUM! http://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/smashed-chickpea-avocado-salad-sandwich/

Will be trying this. Thank you!
