Yes, ditch the diet pop and all artificial sweeteners, for me even stevia wasn’t helping reduce cravings either. I probably consumed diet drinks everyday since 1970s, starting with TAB, lol. I’d wake up looking forward to my Diet Coke everyday and couldn’t image life without it. I stopped all artificial sweeteners in June…

This happened to me, too. I now have a new band to switch back and forth between the older one. Also, regularly washing, drying and spritzing the inside of the band with hydrogen peroxide and let that dry to kill anything fungal.

Yes, that's what I've been doing for 2 months. I don't have much left to lose and it has worked out really well. My deficit (green) has been zero on some days and 500 on others.

I'm in the same boat. Always have had trouble, but taking it seriously now. Have to say that for me nothing can replace cheese. Haven't made pizza for awhile, but will tonight. I'll make my part w/o cheese. BTW- I make frozen desserts with chocolate rice/almond milk in my ice cream maker. It's not just like ice cream, but…

Hula hooping is fun! A hoop isn't expensive either. It's fun to put on the music and go! For me it's addictive and hard to stop once I start!

Those can stick with it have willpower I will never have. Asked a friend how she lost so much weight. Frankly, I was very interested but when she mentioned the very low calories I told her to stop right there. She and others I know start dreaming of food. Some become downright obsessed with the foods they can't have. I'm…

A big mac isn't something most people here at MFP eat regularly anyway. If I can and want to, I'll eat a real one. It's not he sort of thing I would make at home because it isn't a big calorie savings. Eating well 80% of the time is good enough. It won't harm you to have some additives infrequently. What's bad is when it's…

Have you ever had your body composition analyzed? You might be doing better than you think even though the scale isn't moving. You may have a good ability to build muscle. Have you lost any weight at all in the time you've been trying? Keep going. You're doing great with your workouts. The body can take quite a bit of…

Two servings of fruit a day is a good idea. You can do a whole day of fruit, just keep it within your calorie limits.

I really like that: "treat meals". Makes me feel so good inside : )

Didn't think my plateau would get smashed today! Finally after 1 1/2 months of slugging it out, weighed and was down 3 1/2 lbs. this a.m.. I had been working out hard, hour long intervals, moderate weight training 6 days a week. Calories at 1,350 eating back exercise calories. Here's how I changed it up: 1) Sugars were too…

My watch with the elastic wrist band now dangles around my hand. Never considered that my wrists had gained weight over the years!

He must know you won't leave him if he already goes places with you and take him for walks. Probably just nervous because of all the activity in the house is out of the ordinary.

There are healthy versions of these foods. You can't beat Liberty nonfat greek yogurt for a good hit of protein. Not salty, not fatty and not sugary.

If I'm sick and really want to do something, a slow paced easy walk for about 30 minutes is just right. If I push it, it gets worse and lasts longer.
