I should have added that I was hoping to find some plant based protein options like SunWarrior.

I usually weigh myself once a week (on a Saturday morning) but for some reason I decided to get on the scales today, two days before this, and was upset to see that it had only moved down 0.25lbs and it has concerned me all day. I have stuck to my calories/macros the same as any other week and I know it is stupid to worry…

BBQ/Jerk turkey breast with sauteed red onion, broccoli and baked sweet potato. All for 520 cals, 5g fat and 70g protein. I have been converted to turkey breast for the moment due to it only being £7 a kilo when chicken breast is £10 a kilo. A kilo package usually lasts me six meals during the week.

I gave up Diet Coke around 2 years and 2 months ago. Throughout my teenage years, well about 12 through to 23, I used to be addicted to it and would drink at most a 2x500ml bottle and 3x330ml cans a day and a minimum of 2x330ml cans a day. It is one of the best things that I could have done. I now only have a fizzy…

I've just had a grilled turkey breast with a side of cucumber and pepper strips and some houmous.

I track all of the items I eat with the exception of chewing gum, vitamins and some spices. I do track condiments though as they tend to be high sodium and sugar. I try and keep a 100cal buffer zone each day for things like this.

I love courgettes and keep meaning to try this. It's now on my list for next week.

Fage Total 0% fat Greek yoghurt. On a baked sweet potato with chives, with spicy food, on it's own, with some fresh fruit, mixed with peanut butter... there are so many ways to have it.

After trying many kinds, I have settled on the My Protein True Whey in velvet vanilla. You can get samples of different protein powders on the website for about a pound I think.

I would suggest that you weigh items rather than using measuring cups. Not all measuring cups are standard size. Weigh everything individually as you are adding it to a recipe.

I love the My Protein - True Whey in Velvet Vanilla. I mix it with water and it tastes creamy and not too sweet. 1 scoop (25g) 98 cals 2g carbs 2g fat 19g protein 2g sugar

I tend to stay away from 'white' food; bread, pasta, rice, etc and stick to wholemeal or brown versions. I have also cut back from having fizzy drinks everyday to only have the odd one when I am in the pub. I feel a lot less bloated because of this.

I tend to have something to eat every 2.5-3 hours.

I have been using a Tate and Lyle brown sugar and stevia mix for my coffee and it tastes fine. I usually hate the taste of sweeteners. I also use a sprinkle of it on my Total 0% greek yogurt now and again. Maybe introduce a mix if you are not like straight stevia.

Thanks for all of your replies. 4 litres a day of water is probably too much for me on top of the water I get from the odd coffee and herbal tea as well as food, so I am going to try and cut it down a bit to see if it makes a difference to the pain.

I am really trying to follow this thread but I am struggling. My weight loss has slowed down recently and I want to give it a kick start again. What is the best thing for me to do? If anyone can give me my magic calorie allowance to stick to using this method, it would be greatly appreciated. I am 5ft 5 and have a…

I have demolished a whole jar of Nutella in one sitting before. It's so good but you really shouldn't eat from the jar with a spoon.

Teriyaki salmon and courgettes with a leaf, tomato, red onion and cucumber salad. It was so good!

155 of the 217 I have allowance for. Some days I have as low as 75 and others as high as 160. I try and stick to no more than 120 though.

Probably about £180.00 a month for myself.

Once a week at the same time of the day. As the others have said, I would get disheartened by daily fluctuations if I weighed in everyday.
