Nope, even if it isn't within my limit. Eat what you want, unless it eats you first.. . ;)

This could be a possibility. I jump up ~8-10lbs during shark week. Annoying. However, I agree with what most have said here...water retention in the muscles due to routine change. And aliens..

I cannot believe NO one mentioned the HOT DOG DIET. I mean, come ON...that's totally legit, right? It's right there with the delicious cabbage soup diet.

I have PMDD, so with that comes horrible cramps. I find, that by working out regularly, and during TOTM, this lessens the cramps.

Hello and welcome! :) Yes..a few tips: Don't stick to the 1200cal MFP gives you- This is generic for everyone, and does not work for everyone as it is too little calories to lose weight effectively. Check out this post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 I didn't start…

I have also lost 100lbs (recently hit the big 1-0-0!!) without surgery (from 260-160). Yeah, it took me 6 years of ups and downs, but I made it. :D I really need to find my before pictures. :p

Hmm... Anything that screams '3 day diet' should be shot, shot again, then shot again before being tarred and feathered then burning it into the great fiery depths of hell. Seriously, if you are looking to lose and KEEP the weight off, do it sensibly and adjust your lifestyle. As someone who as (stupidly) fallen for these…

Peter Murphy, Elliott Smith, Peter John Sinfield, Andy Deane, Neil Peart, Josh Homme, Freddie Mercury, Dave Grohl...I am sure there are more floating around in my head.

I am a vegetarian, and have been for around 2 years now. Every time I ate meat previously, it would give me terrible stomach pain, so I decided to change the types of proteins that I eat. I found that my body can still tolerate cheeses and seafood/fish, which is good. I've never felt better. :)

Wow, ridiculous. Way to bring on depression. I was shamed all throughout high school even though I wasn't the biggest there. That never did any good, but did cause anxiety and depression. It wasn't until I was getting positive reinforcement that I started to lose the pounds. Sounds to me as if they're looking for an excuse…

Awesome post!!! :) Thank you!

I agree with this. I used to do these fad diets back in the day and always gained the weight back even though I ate balanced afterwards. Plus, I was always hungry, moody and my mind was in a constant fog. These diets are not worth it, as they are nutritionally unbalanced. I did not lose weight until I started eating MORE…

Congratulations and good luck! You can do this! :) Feel free to add me as well. :)

You can do it! I am almost there and never EVER thought I would be able to lose all this weight. I like to see it as 10lbsx10lbs instead of 100lbs- smaller goals are less daunting. All I do is the 30 day shred, and eat a sensible well balanced meal with lots of protein, fiber and good fats. You can do this! :) Good luck! :)

YAY!!! Well done!!! :) I cried when I was under 200lbs! :D

I am 172lbs (down from 268ish), size 13 Canadian (used to be size 22), 5'5". Wanna know my shoe size, too? *giggle* ;) If you must know, they're a size 9. I like long walks on the beach and...... .... ... ... I cannot wear standard length jeans and am always looking for the 'petites'. The boobs are always in the way.

I love coffee, but that's no secret. ;) I usually have 1-3 a day...4 on a bad day.
