A few people are being a little harsh... I understand where you're coming from. I also like variety and I'm not a big fan of sandwiches. I usually make sure to make enough at dinner the night before to have for lunch at some point in the week. Making seasoned chicken and broccoli the night before? Make sure to cook an…

I understand. I work out 5 - 6 days a week, but I honestly NEED my rest day, which is Saturdays. I work out at 4:30am, M-F at the gym (3 days weights, 2 days cardio), and I supplement with 30DS in the evenings if I have the energy. I'm trying not to beat myself up too much about not being so strict with 30DS, but I'm…

I think I bring a rotation of nearly everything mentioned in this thread. I also get Graze boxes from https://www.graze.com/us. They send a variety of different snacks. I love the different varieties that I would never think to make on my own. Like today I had a mix called El Picante, a mix of jumbo salted corn, hot chili…

I'm so sorry for you and your husband! Good job on pushing past the lack of motivation though! I hope the loss of his job just opens the door for something better though!

I weight train and do cardio on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays I just do cardio. My PT actually told me not to do Shred when I was already doing so much (I'm considered obese II, so she's worried I'll hurt myself), but I've found that I have extra energy at night, so I've been adding it any way. I…

I did L1D3 today, but I take a rest day in between each Shred Day because I also weight train at the gym 3 days a week and do cardio two days a week. All of you will quickly pass me up! :)

That is awesome! Great job!

The way it was explained to me, a superset is taking several different exercises and doing "one set" of them together, then repeat 3 or 4 times. For instance, I have a superset of deadlifts and sumo squats, so I perform 15 deadlifts then 15 sumo squats, rest for 30 seconds then repeat. However, I just started supersets…

I like crossing things off too! Gives me another visual to keep me motivated. Thank you!

That's fantastic and gives me hope! That's about the range I got after reading the roadmap thread; I realized I needed to eat between 1700 - 2000 depending on workout days. I also used the IF Calulator (http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/) which confirmed my caluculations from the roadmap. I just started doing this last…

I just searched groups today looking for a 30 Day Shred one. Thanks for doing this! I just started yesterday, Level 1, Day 1. My starting weight is 250 and I hope to make 240 by the end of March. In addition to the 30 Day Shred, I also lift weights 3 days a week, and do cardio 2. I usually have weekends off, but depending…

It's my understanding that you do not want to go below BMR. You want to find your current weight's TDEE and subtract 20% from that (or more if you're seriously overweight). Someone with more experience can correct me if I'm wrong though.

Does anyone have the BodyMedia Fit Link armband? I've been looking into this one, but wasn't sure how accurate it was and if it was worth the money.

Oh, lol, that will teach me to focus more on what I'm reading! Either way, that is fabulous! Great inspiration and I needed it tonight!

Did you do that just through swimming? That's amazing! You look amazing, congratulations!

I'm going to borrow this and tell it to myself everyday when that 4:30 alarm goes off. :)

I do cardio and weights, and honestly, I get mad at myself when I think of all the MONTHS of just cardio I have done with verly little progress. I'm talking maybe 1 - 2 pounds a month at a time. This was while doing cardio for an hour 3 - 4 times a week and staving myself! When I found MFP and saw the posts about weight…

Bumping for follow up.

My moment was kind of similar... My family loves Six Flags and we get season passes every year. Last summer I had to have help getting the lap belt on me on the Screaming Eagle. It definitely made the ride less fun. I started watching what I eat and exercising the next day and I'm now down 20 lbs. Found MFP in January and…
