I got the fitbit charge hr for my birthday in july. I love it. It tracks heart rate, stairs, steps, and calories burned...oh and sleep. You can set goals too which is cool. It is a great motivational tool and it also helps you to see trends and patterns. For example, when I don't sleep enough I tend to eat more.

When I first read this I thought you said "I'm gonna make a conscious effort to eat butter" and I was like, hey...that's an idea I guess...lol
-
When I prepare meals or clean up after, I sometimes find myself grazing. To combat that, I chew gum at these times. It helps!
-
I got my fitbit charge hr the other day and WOW! I didn't realize how active I really was. According to fitbit, I had almost 1000 calories left over yesterday.
-
Sorry to hear that.

I like to take a couple of pieces of deli meat and roll it around a pickle wedge. Sometimes I add mayo or horseradish inside. It would pair well with your night egg!
-
Yes! Fitnessblender is my favorite too. I love their hiit videos.
-
Yes I just got a scale too. I also discovered that I was underestimating on beans and some meat. I love using my scale. Every meal feels like a science experiment. ☺

Lol...my kids would go wild. I'm always on high alert

Yes! I love those. I prefer those to any I have bought in the past. B)

1. Eat what I had pre-planned 2. Not drink beer 3. Work out. 4. Positive outlook

Me! I could lose ten, but I might in all actuality need to lose 15/20. The struggle is real. I just want to be a size 10.
-
It may help to know that the struggle is real for everyone. Look around...if it were easy for everyone, most people will be fit. I struggle with food everyday. Your vice is soda. Try each day to cut down or eliminate that. In fact, if you just have to have a soda, try to have just one within your calorie budget. You may…

Make sure you rinse them a lot. The last batch I made still had a little sand.... :o

I have thyroid disease too. I have to really keep an eye on what I eat or it seems like i can gain 5 to 10 pounds rather quickly. I lost weight about three years ago with calorie counting but then slowly put it back on by slipping into old bad habits (not logging, eating out a lot, cakes and desserts). What i have noticed…

Just eat the same things only a little less. Eat at a calorie deficit.
-
I am 165 tying to get to 155. I have my calories set at 1800. I don't log my work outs...I do kettlebell and run 4-5 times a week. Yall can add me if you want.

Fiber one bars....every time. I blame it on the cat. :o
-
Me too! I feel like I'm in school and made an f on a test! >:)
-
Yea you probably need more calories. Also, I try to find different combinations of food that keep me full for the longest. For instance, I find that combinations of eggs and avocado keeps me full for at least four hours. Oatmeal only for a couple. Try adding more protien in your diet. ;)
-
Yes. I'm a soupaholic! I make my own and the cans are good too. Plus who can resist ramen with an egg! And how about oatmeal? You can make this healthy by adding protien, fruit, ect. <3

I think it's more for the hardcore macro people....
-
Yes. I'M slowly learning that I may have to give the alcohol a rest if I want to meet my goals. On the weekends when I drink, I find myself putting away peanuts, chips, chocolate, and just over eating in general. And for me I can do this with only one drink... so here's my aha moment (and I'm not even oprah) I need to stop…

One pound a week seems about right. I'd be happy with that... I think when people rush the process, they become frustrated. Keep doing what you are doing and give it some time ;)
-
Kraft Poppy Seed Dressing - 80 calories for 2 tbsp....deeeeliciious!
-
I too feel the same way. It seems like the weekends are a time to relax and let your guard down. I also seems like a time to not be so restrictive on your diet. I guess the first thing you can do is let your friends know that you have certain goals. Let them know you will be hanging out, but maybe not drinking so much. You…
