  • I have been with MFP for several years but I just recently had to take a health and wellness college course required for my degree. Whille taking the class, offsite workouts were required for a grade so I took advantage of that to get my husband to "help" me. I played into his ego and told him I needed him to count my…
  • I've actually made some modifications to this recipe and it works out great to make it a little more filling. I have added a can of black beans and a small can of corn and peppers. Also, I now use the low fat/low sodium cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom for a little different flavor. I put the chicken in a fat…
  • Ok so I've learned that weekends are my weakest moments when it comes to fast food. i'm trying to cook enough during the week so I have leftovers to last me all weekend. I don't like to cook on weekends. I'm a work in progress - what can I say?
  • Making it again for dinner tonight - yummy!
  • Please tell me about this Hungry Girl cookbook. Sounds interesting.
  • Thanks. I am going to give it my best effort!
  • I haven't had a scale in my house in a very long time because I didn't trust the output. I'm bumping this topic because I'm ready to purchase one and I am willing to spend a little more to get accuracy.
  • I would love to try this raw foods diet. Please give me some advise on how to keep myself on this diet and still cook for my family of four. I might have to start off slow..like maybe one meal per day for two weeks. Surely even this will give me more energy. I'm not too sure about going 100% yet.
  • Not very many recent posts? Is anyone else like me and finding this challenge really difficult? I didn't realize how addicted I am to the convenience of fast food! I definitely need this challenge.
  • Great advice everyone. Thanks.
  • Wow! I had a really bad week last week. It just seemed to snowball. I missed several meals and went for the quick and easy fast food every time. Now, I'm trying to get back on track. So far this week is much better. Hope I can stay on the wagon!
  • I'm afraid to attempt something so drastic for fear of every pound jumping right back on me and doubling. I'll check back later to see everyone else's thoughts. Thanks for posting.
  • Great input. Thank you so much. Now my next question is...what should I pay for one?
  • Cool profile pic!
  • Hey! I've been doing this for myself for the past week. I would love to join in on your challenge and be held accountable. It will only help me. Thanks for posting.
  • Hi all I ended up buying a fruit and cheese tray for the pot luck. I cheated I know but I'm glad I did because that was the only fruit. Thanks for all the input.:flowerforyou:
  • I think I will try this at home. Sounds tasty.
  • I weighed 230 when I became pregnant, weighed 251 the day I delivered my daughter, and now I'm at 203. I ate really healthy the whole pregnancy so the weight literally fell off for a little while. My daughter is 9 months old now and I seem to be at a plateau. I don't want to stop losing weight because I should have never…
  • That's great too! I never think of the simple things. Thanks.
  • I'm in the same situation. I weighed 230 when I became pregnant, weighed 251 the day I delivered my daughter, and now I'm at 203. I ate really healthy the whole pregnancy so the weight literally fell off for a little while. My daughter is 9 months old now and I seem to be at a plateau. I don't want to stop losing weight…
  • Sounds awesome! Thanks.
  • Motivation needed here. Grrr! I want to be under this 200 pound mark once and for all! My weight is fluctuating between 199 and about 203 and it's driving me nuts. Now may not be the ideal time to weigh myself due to monthly water retention but I need to keep going. HW 230 CW 203 GW 185
  • Hey count me in! I seem to be at a plateau in my weight loss but I want to lose more. I am trying to do it the right way with exercise and diet so I am aiming for two pounds per week as well. CW 203 GW 185
  • Just now learning to cook. This one is super easy. Thanks for posting:flowerforyou:
  • Absolutely love love love this recipe! My mom never made meatloaf while I was growing up so believe it or not I never tried:flowerforyou: it until I became an adult. II make a variation of this recipe at least once every two weeks. My son gobbles it up and has no idea he is eating vegetables because I chop them so small.…
  • I have a bad habit of splurging on the weekends too but I think this is working for me. I focus a lot harder on eating healthy during the week after having fun - in moderation - all weekend. I'm also not sitting on my butt at my desk like i do during the week. This weekend was at the top of the list though because of my…
  • Very interesting.....I'm curious about this too.
