Pacer stopped working for me after a few weeks, started crashing, turning off constantly & stopped syncing with MFP, I tried contacting them, but haven't heard back, so I switched apps to Accupedo...so far so good.

I use my iPod & it works great!

Both my daughter & I have gluten intolerance & I've pretty much found substitutions for everything we were already eating, so it hasn't been all that hard for us. The trick is knowing where hidden gluten is in things like soups, chocolate etc. But as long as you do most of your cooking at home, you'll be fine.

I found nutritional info for whey here: http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/Foods/100/1112/Food.aspx I would imagine you would subtract the info for every cup of whey you drained off. Thanks for the recipe!

The only benefit whole flax seeds have is that they are high in fiber. They need to be ground for your body to use the healthy oils in them, but they have to be ground just prior to using because they don't keep once ground. You can use a coffee grinder to grind them, but it needs to be one you only use for seeds & herbs.

I find that if I keep my carbs to 40% of my total calories to 30% protein & 30% healthy fats my sugar cravings go away & I lose weight easier. If you are interested you can change your % by changing your goals & doing custom settings. It's important to balance your carbs at each meal too. The 1st 3 days you still have…

I tend to lose more weight with more protein. After my baby before I got sick I lost 45 lbs on the zone diet 40:30:30 carbs/protein/fats. So now that I'm in remission I'm back on the zone diet & adjust my goals so that those % would reflect in myfitnesspal diet. I also find that I stop craving sugar after about 3 days on…

I'm gluten free too. There are a lot of gluten free cereals & breads out there now that are delicious. I've learned to cook everything I was cooking before, but only now I'm doing it gluten free & I feel much better! Our Walmart has gluten free section, but the majority of gluten free items I buy are from our local organic…

I'm using the Wii Fit & it's great because I was able to do easier exercises in the beginning. It lets you know how many calories you've burned in the session so it's really easy for me to increase that every day which has become easier. If you don't have a Wii Fit, try doing less reps & breaking your working into 2 15…

When I balance my carbs & protein just right at each meal, they just go away after 3-4 days & stay away. I can always tell if I've had too many carbs to my protein ratio because I'll crave sugar. 30% protein to 40% carbs works really well, I just went in & did custom goals to reflect that so I don't have to think about it…

I hear you, I'm turning 47 in 10 days & it's been a challenge as to how much exercise I can do, but I've been making sure I burn just a little more calories each day on the Wii to slowly edge myself up without hurting myself. I didn't exercise for years because of autoimmune issues making the exercise cause me to go into…

There definitely may be some error in an entry somewhere, but also eating too many carbs will also make you gain weight, not just calories so if you are eating too high of a % of carbs it will say you will gain weight.

I took CLA for a while & lost weight in my stomach area, but the only problem was it add the weight to my waist! As soon as I quit taking it my waist went back to it's normal size.

I like how there are specific brands of foods that have been logged in the database so that you don't have to type in everything you eat by hand. You can always add a new one if one doesn't already exist so it will be there for others too. Plus, it saves everything you eat & you frequently eat the same things like I do all…

I use Wii for exercise. I use the Wii Fit mostly, but here are categories for Wii Bowling, tennis, golf etc. Show him that when you go to log in exercise, then cardiovascular & search for Wii it comes up. When you put in your mins, it will calculate your calories based on your weight. If it weren't an exercise, it wouldn't…

I hear you. I'm currently squeezing into my fat jeans & have to keep washing them because I refuse to buy the next size larger. I have to do this alone too while cooking for my family. My husband used to travel for a living, but every since he got a local job 11 months ago, I've gained 25 lbs! I just started yesterday, but…
