On MFP app go to home page. At the top it tells you Goal-food+exercise+ remaining. If you click on the exercise it will show you your steps. I think you have to have your Fitbit open to show current steps on MFP. Hope that helps!!

Tuna and hard boiled eggs-very good together!

When I feel like that, I just put on my head phones and walk. Typically an audio book so I don't think about how far I am going. Usually able to get at least a few miles in and feel like I have done something!

Walk, walk walk! that is a great place to start..over ;-)

Oh my goodness-yes! So many people experience this when first starting out or getting back into it. Believe me, you are not alone. But the first step to getting back in shape is to walk out the door and go. I guarantee once you get you first workout in, the second will be easier for you to get up and go. I go to the gym A…

Great that you are running! Consistancy is your friend when runing...the more you do it, the better you will get. Good luck!!

I was also curious-Google says 12 to 17 calories per cup.

I have frozen tons of stuff from my crock pot. Most things that freeze the best are meat and veggies. I don't think the beans would freeze well, but I am not sure since I have not frozen the beans. I suggest you put most in the fridge and a small portion in the freezer and try them out tomorrow for lunch or dinner and see…

I am over 50 (52 in June). I am working on doing some HIIT workouts. I think the very best suggestion would be to get a wearable heart monitor i.e. a Fitbit Charge HR. It helps you to know where your heart rate is and to know how fast you recover. This was a great video that TresaAswegan posted.

I eat a ton of veggies every day. But yes, sometimes I am hungry...You can look at my diary. I don't usually log on weekends-

I started listening to audio books when I run. It is amazing how a good story can get your mind moving off of the fact that your feet are hurting and your lungs are burning!!

Could you be pregnant??

All of my children are now adults. When they were little, I tried very hard to keep them on a healthy diet and to not eat junk. It is hard, it looks like your child is still very small. It gets harder...stick to your guns and try to always give them healthy options-they will get used to it and expect healthy options…

Lancôme has a great tanner that I have been using for years. It is very pricy, but always gives me a great color and one tube usually lasts me the summer. You can buy it at Macy's or Dillards.

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but what if you carried a food sealer with you? Relatively small and you could just put the food in it and seal it and take it home to whoever, or throw it in the freezer for a special treat. At least that way you aren't just pitching it.

Great work!

Yup-all of this. He does need to learn, but you also need to open your eyes to the fact that he notices you. He notices what you do and how you do it. Take this opportunity to improve yourself! Best of luck! :)

It is always great to get the kids involved. I think if you set the example they tend to follow. Good luck!! :)

Hi Peg-welcome back! You can add me as a friend-always need more! I just turned 50 this year-

What kind of Cardio? For how long? Have you been tracking your food? Believe me, none of us THINK we eat too much, but it is a kick in the face when you actually log it all in and see how many calories you have eaten.

Pushing the LIKE button on your post! Merry Christmas! :)

Every day is a struggle for people. Sometimes it is walking away from a cake or getting up off the couch to go exercise. The very best thing you can do is to be consistent-take one day at a time. If you log everything, good and bad you can start to see a pattern of how you are eating and why. Good luck!

First off, 900 calories is way too low-you are starving yourself. Go up to 1200-1400 and you may see a change.
-
Awesome job-to both of you! :)

Well I learned something today! All these post make me want to go home and boil eggs! :)
