  • Sounds like you're creeping in to LCHF or Keto diet - works really well for some people (self included) as your body will turn to the fat for energy over carbs when they aren't readily available. I've been following this way of eating since February; I'm the lightest I've been in 10 years and still going. A good resource…
  • My friend took a candid of us last night and I didn't hate my face for the first time in living memory. :)
  • I don't always log the exact amount of liquids I drink, so I may be off a few calories for the squash in the bottle i swig from at work. But I will always log all the foods, else whats the point?
  • Absolutely fanatic, nothing is as good a feeling as looking as great as you imagined in your wedding pictures! A great triumph.
  • A lot of places in the UK do provide the information but you have to ask for it or search on their web pages - Places like The Harvester are amazing for it. You can plan your mean ahead of time with an App as well. Just need to get more places on board. Its illegal not to provide the ingredients list, why not follow suit…

  • Genuinely the happiest moment since I started loosing, its a bigger boost than seeing the numbers on the scale go down.
  • I'm 5 ft 5, currently weighing in at 177lb, I'm set to loose lbs a week so my recommended calorie intake is 1200. If I walk to work and burn a little extra I don't eat the few that it gives back but if I've been to the gym and burnt quite a few I will eat a little more to balance it out. Whatever you do in a day eating too…
  • I used to be with a gym group that cost way too much for what they provided and it put me off going because it was small and smelled unclean. This time round I've joined up with The Gym. Its so clean its practically clinical and its open 24 hours so you can go whenever, and the cost is one of the lowest I've found. I find…
  • Over the first week of starting to exercise regularly I felt like crap, because my body wasn't used to it. After the second week I actually felt a whole lot better overall because the muscles had come to expect a little more and thus I found I was waking up earlier and feeling more energised for it. Some days though it can…
  • I love coffee - my downfall is that I only like it in latte form, and the milk can rack up the calories etc. so I have had to reduce the amount that I have, and cut the milk down to skimmed as well. I did get to a point once where I would get caffeine shakes... if it gets to that stage its too much coffee!
  • She didn't say you were ugly before just that the weight wasn't doing you any favours. Its a great way to show you've done good, else no one would have noticed! Well done.
  • Hate to see a lonely face, I'll find you!
  • 5'5" - I stopped growing about 7 years ago... Start weight of 190lb Goal weight of 140lb though if I feel its healthy to keep going after that (I'm not petite at all) I'd go to 135-130lb
  • Not really; items like that are easier to find manually where as different types of packaged foods often have multiple differences from previous versions with different nutritional values so the scanner makes it easier in those situations. It also localises it so when you search for something like chips you don't end up…
  • I've set myself rewards at every 10lbs. Its little things that I want to buy but can't really warrant, like new bath mats or an awesome phone dock, or those cookie cutters you really like. That way its not taking an affect on the calories and it lasts longer than 5 minutes!
