I have done both and they are both great. The Ripped in 30 has 4 levels. A couple of the moves are the same but there is still a huge variety. I really can't say which I like more. I will say the blonde girl in Ripped in 30 annoys me:)

Is it soreness or pain? Because soreness will happen...I love it because I know I have pushed harder than I did before. If it's pain, then you need a rest. Soreness I would push through. I'm extrememly sore from Jillian but still plan on doing her workout again tonight. Just my opinions:)

I have plain oatmeal with a little peanut butter in it and egg whites with veggies in them. This is the most filling breakfast I have had.

Definitely eat more. You need to net at least 1200 calories a day and it doesn't even look like you are eating 1200 per day. Say for example I want to net 1200 cals and I burn 400 cals. That means I would be eating 1600 cals. It sounds funny to eat more but it does work. If you do not eat enough you won't lose weight.

It's my understanding that kcals are equal to calories but I see people using kcals in different ways. Burning 100 cals a week would be very easy and would not really do much for you body. I do HIIT on the elliptical for 20 - 30 minutes depending on how much time I have. On weekends or when I'm off from work I do it longer because I have the time. Incorporating HIIT with that will really help boost your metabolism.

I'd say lower it now. I lowered mine when I had 10 lbs left to lose. It's the hardest to come off and it should come off slowly that way it stays off.

Heart Rate Monitor is the only way to get an accurate calorie burn. MFP is not accurate and there is no calculation to do unless you have an HRM.
