I'm turning 48 in 2 weeks.........200lb is the weight I told myself I would never get higher than. Now I'm just trying to get back to that number.

In June I had stopped smoking, stopped drinking, lost weight and was feeling good. After July 4th I let the summer time blues…

I was diagnosed with prediabetes also, my Dr. suggested that I lose weight with LC and put me on Metformin. I'm starting today and would welcome any support you have to offer.

I'm calling this my sober summer. I gave up the beer not necessarily for weight lost but because I stopped smoking June 1. Since then I have been successful in losing weight so for me its been a good choice.

Week 3 fd. 2, over. Easy peasy. (Knock on wood) ready for week 4.

My 3rd week and I'm down a total of 6lbs and 2 inches from hips & 3 inches from waist...and the bonus is the yesterdays fast day I didn't even feel hungry just breezed right through it. Thank you guys for all the support!!! <3 :)

I would really like an update on how you are doing on this. I have been taking bupropion(to stop smoking) and now the DR. suggested I ad Topiramate.

That is where I started was getting healthy. I recently stopped smoking and now I'm focusing on healthy eating. Hopefully the weight loss will follow suit. Feel free to add me.

This has nothing to do with diet, but this is the month I've decided to stop smoking. Today is my quit day. This thread will help to keep me accountable. That is my change for June to become smoke free :o
