are you drinking enough water? sometimes a hard workout causes me to show a weight gain but then I drink extra water and after a few days I am down.

most people gain weight when starting college. its likely if you start now you will just gain back anything that you lost. maybe you want to go to college get settled in and then start to be focused on a weight loss goal.

I only capitalize if I am on the computer, I dont find it necessary from my phone.

I ate a chicken salad, pretzels and tuna for lunch today. you can look at my diary too. but I didnt really log this weekend so you will have to skip those 2 days

that is not how we eat in Colorado lol

I felt like that too at first. I went later in the evening when there were less people until I got use to it

you are 19, you shouldnt be drinking anyway. but that is probably where most of your calories are coming from. you can always order an appetizer or a salad or meat entree with less calories. I order stuff like that all the time and none of my friends even think anything about it.

No, I get tired at night and if I have too many calories left over I just wont eat enough and go to bed

I did the HCG diet and lost 40lbs and I have kept it off for almost 6 years now. I did end up lose all my muscle and started lifting weights but low weights at first because I wasnt strong. I also had to get a prescription for vitamin d because with that diet you were supposed to go in the sun for 30 mins but I didnt, I…

I think they say you can lose fat and gain strength but not actual bigger muscles. because to lose fat you eat at a deficit and to build muscles you have to eat at a surplus. so you cant do both. you can most definitely get stronger though which I think is what you did.

I usually eat a lower carb diet by eating less breads and pastas. when I do eat them I usually do before the gym. just my choice. the important part is that you stay within your calorie goal. if you want to eat restrictive then do it, phase 1 is just a short period of time right? but you wont be able to do it longer term.…

definitely. I was just saying the only reason they appear to work is because they cause you to eat less at first.
-
if it is that easy and you can do it then why havent you?
-
they work because they curb your appetite so you eat less. but eventually you get used to them and go back to eating more. if you just eat less you can do the same thing without them. then you dont have that jittery feeling all day

I can understand your frustration because I tried for months with no results. I didnt realize that I needed to eat more calories. Just read some of the threads here and you will learn some things that you need to do to obtain your goal. :)

I am 5'9" and 130lbs, 125lbs is the minimum for a healthy BMI range. I currently am too small for size 7 and have to squeeze into size 5. I dont think you will be able to wear size 3 at your height, the last time I wore size 3 was at 117lbs in high school. I wouldnt worry about the size, as much as how you look. if you…

yeah I do strength training and lift weights now. I want to gain muscle but also want my body fat down. I lost the majority of my weight with diet only so I lost a lot of my muscle too

I am 5'9" SW 167 CW 130 GW 125? I am going to start building muscle as soon as my body fat percentage is lower so I will probably go back up in weight.

I eat 1200 calories a day have been maintaining it a month and already lost 6lbs. I am used to it now and dont get too hungry. I try to eat things that keep me full longer like protein and vegetables but that is a personal preference. I dont eat back a lot of my workout calories, only when I know I had a hard workout and…

that is what I got 30% and you look good so now I feel a lot better lol

I did low carb for a long time and my weight would fluctuate alot lose some gain some. it wasnt until I started eating 1200 and logging that I am losing the last of the weight that I need to. I realized its not the carbs that make me gain weight but the overall calories. I still eat fairly low carbs because they make me…

Nice considering my body fat is high enough already lol

I have the same issue, I lift weights but I dont eat enough to gain any bulk. I am afraid I will put on more fat than muscle. so I am just going to follow your thread :)
