I am the same way about having to eat every few hours!!! Breakfast - I usually eat an egg on a slice of toast with a little bit of margarine along with a fruit or I'll eat yogurt, granola and fruit. Snacks - I eat a lot of carrots and apples. Those seem to really fill me up. Lunch - I tear up a whole stalk of romaine…

I use smaller plates not only because it looks like I have more, but also because it helps me portion better. I wouldn't say it helps me feel fuller longer though. What I try to do to help that along is to eat more foods that have lots of fiber, like carrots, apples, etc. That is what does the trick for me for hunger.

Why should who I hang out with and what I do change just because my eating habits are? My friends and my husband like to drink when they go out. I don't. I pretty much get the motivation I need from myself. I know the reasons I want to become healthier and that is all I really need for motivation. I try to not ask for motivation from friends and family because it makes me angry when they call me on my pitfalls. So, I don't think it is fair to ask for one and not the other.…
