I would agree^ ...lot of "servings" and cups....I thought I was under my calorie goal all the time, with food added from the database and was shocked to see how different the actual cals were.....need to weigh everything and check the nutritional content on MFP for yourself!

Love it as a topping for baked potatoes! With a nice big green salad!

No! Just No! It is not just the procedure, the post surgery recovery, but the lifetime of battling with what you eat, the amount, the uncomfortableness of it all! Oh No!
-
Cans of food - any sort- get my cat and dogs attention, maybe 'cuz they associate, but I really think that they just love food and are chancing that I'll give them a treat!

Buying a fridge/ freezer with a filtered water system; water is from the tap, has replaced the need for pop and cordials in our house! Kids love it! Feels healthier! I drink water from the tap, buy bottled water, if out and thirsty, and like the filtered water,

Fibromyalgia causes fatigue and poor sleep quality. I'd discuss this with your Rheumie next time you see them.

I'd be interested to know this too! I do not have a HRM...awaiting one from Santa! (I know...I'm 47, just skint all the time!) I think MFP definitely overestimates exercise cals burnt for swimming..and I'm definitely slower than others I see swimming alongside me!!

Bumping this as I'm tempted as I read that it can help with the sweet cravings, and help to improve your thyroid function.....gonna do some more research, when I have time!
-
Amazing! Well done! Good luck with that last bit! ...and your 5k tomorrow!

The British Heart Association ( I am in the UK) recommends a sodium intake of no more than 6 gms a day = 6000mgs. UNLESS you have high BP or associated poblems. E.g I have renal problems, take anti hypertensive drugs to protect my kidneys and am SPECIFICALLy advised to aim for 1.5 gms to a maximum 2.5 gms.

I like this! I wish I could just like myself and think like this!
-
Bump! .....all I can say is thanks!

You should see me! I feel like I should be in one of those freak circuses!.... You know " Roll up ..roll up, come and see this woman.......!" I have an altered body shape that is grotesque ...hope weight lifting and swimming and a calorie deficit will do something! I take corticosteroids! ....my face is becoming more moon…
-
I'm hoping for a flex or loop from Santa this year, still debating which! Taken me a while to narrow it down to these two! LOL
-
Agree with this!
-
Just to add, anabolic steroids too, not corticosteroids! Added this as many of us have to take corticosteroids, and will also not get big muscles from lifting! : )
-
That's ok! It's just, to me, 58 kgs sounds great! But you may not be very tall! I was wondering if you have only, relatively, a small amount to lose, you may just need to give yourself a little more time :) Anyway, good luck!

Can you tell us your stats and open your diary... You'll probably get lots of feedback then!
-
And you are sure about that?
