Oh, God. I think I just threw up a little.

You want to talk about guilty pleasures.......... I love JOURNEY!!!! I mean, don't get me wrong - I certainly don't listen to it for it's profound lyrics. But, I feel like it's the mother of all guilty pleasures. I'm not ashamed.....

:-D

Okay, Ghostland Observatory. I can't help myself!
-
Hahahah! Just b/c it's popular doesn't mean it's not good. I'm a fan!

Dave Matthews reminds me of high-school. Then I get all depressed thinking about how old I'm getting. Hahah!
-
I was practically raised on The Grateful Dead!

Also - Okervil River, T.V. on the Radio, Spoon.... (Sorry, had to throw in some Austin bands) :-D

Glen Hansard, yes! I've seen him twice. Once w/ 'Iron and Wine' (also amazing), and once as 'The Swell Season', but his band mates from 'The Frames' were also there. So very good! And yes, I've definitely seen 'Once'!
-
Ahhhh......the Decemberists too. Anyone familiar with The Swell Season or The Frames?
-
The Beatles, Bob Dylan (not a band, but he needs to be here), Pink Floyd BUT to be more current-- Bright Eyes, Band of Horses, The National, Bon Iver. :) [/quote] ^^^Good call^^^

They complete me..... Hahahahahah! Too far?
-
Band of Horses!

I was just thinking the same thing! I was so miserable all summer!!! Still waiting on some rain, though.

Fat does look low. Healthy fats need to be included. Try avocado, nuts, foods w/ Omega-3. Also, cook with healthy oil. I prefer coconut oil.

Ah. Oops! :-)

No veggies? Also, a balanced breakfast would be more ideal. In fact, nothing seems very balanced. Are you following some sort of protein plan?

I totally get what you're saying about learning how to eat properly. I wish I could say I don't now how to eat properly, but I do....and I still let myself get to a point that I feel like I need to drop weight initially just to feel good enough physically to get back to the gym!

Also, having a friend who is a nurse recommend it b/c she was so successful may have had a little to do with it. Blame it on peer pressure!!!

I did feel that way then, and quite honestly, to some extent today. As I mentioned earlier, I'm usually the one opposed to quick fixes, or weight loss programs using chemicals, etc. I still feel that Doctors shouldn't promote things that could be unsafe and feel that they do so to benefit themselves.I absolutely recognize…

Oh no, you're absolutely correct! There are some judgmental &%$# in here. I learned that yesterday. Oh well, their problem - not mine. Don't let it ruin your experience!
-
Thank you, Nancy! That is precisely the type of response I had hoped for. Muah! :-D

Good Lord. Too many things to respond to. My point was, I wasn't asking for opinions - I was asking for experiences (good or bad). But, clearly people are SUPER opinionated on this topic. It isn't always about will power (not saying I'm overloaded with it). I guess at this point I'm to share my medical history. I do have…

Good for you. However, I'm not you. I'm also not suggesting that HCG is the "end all be all". It's more of a last resort type thing. Just to clarify, I was asking about HCG experience, so I could make an informed decision - not the opinion of people who haven't had any experience with it.

Thanks, everyone! By the way, for those of you suggesting I "try diet and exercise" first. While I appreciate your opinions, you can't seriously think that I haven't already tried that.....repeatedly. :-D
-
Good for you! Congratulations!

People getting offended makes me laugh...
