Thanks for the suggestion. I'm seeing a specialist this afternoon to find out whether it is muscules or ligaments i've damaged (i'm hoping muscular) and how severely.I'll ask about swimming as I hadn't thought about that. I hope I can do this as then at least i would be able to do some form of exercise!

maybe the chicken marsala, Bouillabaisse à la Provençal, paella, Baked Sea Bass in Clay Pot or the cedar wrapped salmon. i think pretty all of these should come in at under 845 cals. especially the seafood choices.

i set a manual workout where you can set the heart rate limits yourself that way it doesnt beep at me!!

This is common if the shoes don't fit correctly. Theoretically if you get good shoes (preferably fitted at a specialist running shop) this shouldn't happen!

a glass of milk is good too (plain or flavoured) , it can give you a couple of hundred calories without actually having to eat anything and it's full of calcium.

The reason these people are classed as overweight is because they are (well most) very muscular (and the same volume of muscle weighs more than the same volume of fat) and the BMI is not designed for very muscular people. That is why it isn't as accurate as say body fat percentage.
