My profile pic is my most recent progress pic. I started at 192 and I've lost 39 pounds (gained a couple over vacation). My goal weight is around 130-135. Take it a day at a time. It took me about a year to lose what I have lost. Some may say that's slow but I wanted to actually adopt healthier habits rather than simply…

Perhaps you should focus on why you're angry instead of what other people keep in their fridge. Hope your day turns around. P.S. You're wearing your resistance as a badge of honor.....

I think a lot of people need to focus on loving themselves BEFORE getting to their goal weight. If you don't already, you'll just continue to be critical of yourself. I didn't like my weight but I didn't hate my body either. If you're aware that you don't love your body (Regardless of size), stop and focus on that for a…

You can also use neosporin on your thighs to prevent rubbing (just need a little). As for bras, I'm the same size as you and looking for new ones. I have some that aren't really supporting anymore as well as some VS bras that support fine but are my old size. I wear them together. It may sound odd but I'm very well…

I wear Saucony (the kinvara to be exact). They have a ton of different styles for different foot and runner types. They also have pretty good sales and are available at a lot of different stores. I tried out the Kinvara 2 last year and recently bought the Kinvara 3 (I'm a generation behind because they're cheaper that…

You can add me! I love food so I'm always trying new recipes. I eat a lot of healthy but really filling, tasty meals! I also treat myself. :)

YAY! You look great!!!!

I had to tell someone about their body odor before. They had gained weight too. I'm not sure what caused it but fat people do NOT have a smell. People who do not clean properly (or have chemical imbalances) do. Here are some possible reasons you may have an odor: 1. Are you cleaning your entire body? It's possible you're…

No. People need to stop trying to control other people. Do what feels good to you (as long as it's not hurting anyone....and a bikini never hurt anyone). :)

Those symptoms aren't just for gluten...most food allergies or intolerances have the same symptoms to varying degrees. I had those exact symptoms from meat. I learned this back in August when I did a month of pescetarian(sp?) (mostly vegetarian). All those symptoms went away. Now I eat mostly vegetarian. I've figured out…

I didn't really cut anything. I just don't eat/drink it that often. I kind of cut coffee....but I still drink it from time to time. I don't really think you have to totally cut things, just limit your intake if it's high in sugar or fat or has no nutritional value.

I'm 5'1", goal range is 130-135.

Yes!!!!! I started at 1200 too and then increased. I'm currently eating between 1500 and 1600 a day (depending on my meals it's hard to hit the 1500 some days)!! It really pays to sit down and do a ton of research. You'll quickly learn that most of those "1200 calories" sources are either out-of-date or extremely lacking…

I used to do some of the jumping on a mini trampoline.

If you're not used to eating that many vegetables/fiber, then yes. I usually eat a lot of veggies but sometimes I eat more and it does upset my stomach. What else are you eating? You should gradually increase your fiber intake. No point in living uncomfortably if you don't have to.

Maybe I'm misunderstand "thigh gap" but in my experience, it's more about body shape. You can have thick thighs and have a gap at the same time. Your thighs still touch, but there is a "diamond" shape there. Doesn't really matter if people like it or not. They're like hips, butts, and breasts.....either you'll have on or…

Congrats! You look amazing! And I love the hair and glasses :)

You can't really spot reduce but you can do extra toning to problem areas. Try this link http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/thighs/ :)

1. HIIT Timer app on my phone. 2. Hot pink running shoes! :) 3. Food scale (to replace my old one). The app helps me time my workouts without compromising my form or focus trying to look at a clock. The shoes are great for my flat feet and the color makes me happy! Food scales are great. Sometimes you're underestimating…

Learn how to love yourself no matter what :)

Whoa! Congrats (on the success and class)! This is amazing!

I don't use it but one of my mfp friends does. She LOVES IT! I keep meaning to buy one and try it. The only reason I haven't is because I tend to not actually workout at home much. From my understanding, you can make it harder or easier if need be. I plan to get it soon though for when I'll miss cardio workouts :)

My diary is open :)

Whole grains are clean, they should just be that grain no other ingredient. Nothing bleached or enriched. With breads, I think the easiest way to go is Ezikiel (sp?) style products (bread, english muffins, tortillas, etc come this way). I usually get Food for Life brand. As far as milk, I drink almond or soy milk but…

Congratulations! I'm glad you realized you needed help and got it! So many people don't! So happy for you :)

My cat loves coconut oil too but I was worried it was bad for her. This would explain why she hasn't had any hairballs in a longtime! As for me, I use coconut oil with shea butter as a body moisturizer. I use it alone as a face moisturizer. And I also cook with it! The funny thing about using it on my skin is that people…

Winter! I can hope up and practically run to the gym when it's warm outside. When it's cold, I don't want to do anything :/

Try aged cheese. I realized I don't have trouble with aged cheese (turns out they have less lactose in them). Also almond milk, soy isn't really good for you I've learned (it has estrogen-like hormones in it). And greek yogurt, I think it also has less (if any) lactose in it. Congrats on your baby :)
