  • Can you try compromising? Have the pizza and/or beer, but maybe try to get a walk/workout in as well. Or ask someone to help keep you accountable to just one piece of pizza and one beer. It might help if you mostly fill up on something healthy first instead of diving into pizza when you feel like you're starving.

  • For me, it's more important to be healthier long term. That means that whatever changes I make, I have to be able to live with. So, moderation is key! There is no way I'm not eating ice cream or pizza for the rest of my life, so I have to figure out how I can work that into my everyday life.
  • I just enter strength training in the cardio section, and it gives me a calorie burn. I'm not sure how accurate it is, though.

  • I hear you! I love sweets! For me, it's important not to deprive myself, so I try to just have a small serving of whatever I'm craving. I also try to make sure that I really savor and enjoy every treat, so that I get the full psychological benefit and the satisfied feeling.
