I hip-thrusted 200 pounds, and deadlifted 185. Working my way back after an injury is tough, and every new personal record makes me smile.

For myself. I'd tried before to do it for my Hubby, but that never worked. Because he'd do something to tick me off and I'd give up to spite him. Now when he makes me mad, I just go lift some heavy things and get some endorphins to spite him.

Thanks! I often overthink things. LOL

I like that idea! That should be a lot cheaper. And caffeine-free, which I like.

I looked that up on the Cellucor website. It has sucralose, so it's a no-go.

Avoiding Vitamin Shoppe won't be a problem. I live in the middle of nowhere. Literally. My house is in the middle of a wheat field. Anyway, I do most of my shopping on Amazon. I don't see any original formula Craze there...

You don't need to "cleanse". Your liver and kidneys do that for you, every day, all day. Of course, if you don't have working kidneys or liver... then by all means, do your "cleanse". Hope that works out for you. Though, really, if your kidneys and liver aren't functioning, I don't think tea and lemon water will fix the…

I deadlifted 200 pounds yesterday!

Be stronger than your strongest excuse. Don't look back; you're not headed that way. I'm going to succeed because I'm crazy enough to think I can. Never underestimate what you are capable of. Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try. I don't stop when I'm tired; I stop when I'm done.

Same reasons as all the other chicks.... and another reason: I can check out the guns in the mirror without making it obvious that that's what I'm doing. What? We all do it. And it's distracting when the guys pull up their sleeves and flex. Maybe they should take a cue from us and go sleeveless. Oh... another…

Female, 33 5'2" 155 pounds Bench Press - 115 lbs Squat - 175 lbs Deadlift - 175 lbs I've only been lifting for about a month and a half, so I'm just getting started. My current goals are to bench my bodyweight, and squat and deadlift 200, and be able to do sets of dead-hang pull-ups by my birthday, Dec 5. After that...…

So I asked at my gym; they don't allow chalk. Some of y'all had mentioned eco-ball as an alternative to chalk. What exactly is that? I did adjust my grip today; I was gripping the bar with my palms, so I moved it to the first knuckle of my fingers. That seemed to help a lot. I was able to get a new personal best!…

I do use a mixed grip; a guy at the gym recommended it. But then I read today that you should use an overhand grip until you get higher than bodyweight, and then switch to mixed grip. My warmup for deadlift is at 135, and I weigh 154. So I'm going to go back to overhand grip for warmups and up to bodyweight, to make my…

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate the advice. That's why I asked before clicking "buy". I don't want to waste money on something that won't help. Thanks again!

450 club here, but I've only been at it for a month. Right now, my squat is strongest, at 170. My deadlift is 165, and my bench press is 115. Someday maybe I'll join the 1000 pound club!

Yesterday after I got a new personal best on my squats, a guy asked me if I'd lifted competitively before. You should have seen his face when I told him I've only been lifting for a month! Oh, and that weight I put on my shoulders to squat weighed 15 pounds more than I do.

None. Because it's not necessary.

I front-squatted 100 pounds yesterday!

Yep. I lift every other day, and I'm often still sore from my previous workout. Sometimes I take it easy if I'm really sore... meaning I don't go for a new personal best. But I usually just go after it like usual. I have goals and stuff. I don't want to waste time not training.

I joined a gym a little over a month ago, just to lift weights. I'm usually the only woman lifting, but not always. I do occasionally get some funny looks from the guys when I walk in and start lifting like I own the place. But more often I overhear comments like "She deadlifts more than I do!" I can deadlift…

Eat what you want and don't worry about it. One meal didn't make you overweight(I'm assuming you're overweight because you're trying to lose weight) and one meal won't derail all of your progress so far. Enjoy your date, and get back to your normal weighing-everything routine the next day. :)

Got new personal bests on my big three lifts today! Bench press 110, Squats 165, Deadlift 160.

I'm currently around 22%, and working my way toward 15%. :)

One thing's for sure: if you don't do it now, it'll be tougher to start later in life.

So you have one set of muscles that is stronger than the corresponding set of muscles on your significant other. Yay for you. How about the rest of the muscles? Not so much? Okay, then I don't think you can legitimately call yourself "stronger" than him. Try some real tests of strength, and find out whether you actually…

From a trainer I had just met: "I can tell you've been lifting for a while." He also said I had "nice delts."

New clothes, usually. I've shrunk into... and then out of.... most of my old clothes, so I'm into all new stuff now. Massage is always nice, but I live in the middle of nowhere, and the one salon here that used to have a massage therapist, doesn't anymore. Hoping they'll find another one soon, because I totally…
