Hey everyone as well! I was calorie restricting to 1500/day using the MFP app, and had my first Zepbound shot this past Friday. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to really start feeling the "hey I'm not really hungry" effects? I felt it on days 2 and 3, but now I am RAVENOUS. I've already emailed my doc and asked…

Thank you for your posting. I am extremely serious when I say that. I currently weigh 196 and can barely break 12 minute miles, but you are running 10 minute miles! YOU GO!!!

Ok let's be clear: a tablespoon of peanut butter is not going to derail your diet. I am a *HUGE FAN* of a glass of red wine and a spoon (or 12) of peanut butter, don't get me wrong. Why not just take a tablespoon of it then go for a walk? Eat it slowly so you get your peanut butter fix, and by the time you get home you…

I track water, Crystal Light and MIO. For me coffee would NOT constitute water.

Add me! I have about 50 to lose to be a size six, but 60 would make me HAUGHT! :)

May I ask why you want to be a UK6/US2? I am currently a US12 so I really have no room to talk here (as my goal is to get down to a US6). I am concerned that some of the comments on this blog could trigger the beginnings of an eating disorder.........

I agree, thank you everyone for the positive reinforcement! :) I will log my exercises as 1 calorie, that way I don't feel like, "Oh I just worked off 410 calories according to the treadmill, so it's ok for me to have that slice of cake with dinner instead of a glass of wine (400 calories vs 110.....).

Most grass-fed steaks average 240 calories/25g protein for 4oz. Add spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, etc on the side and you get 30g protein and under 300 calories. Chicken averages 110 calories/4oz but the protein isn't as high. Tuna is high in protein and low in calories/fat. Eggs are high in protein but be careful about…

Personally I take fiber capsules made with psyllium husks. Since I cannot guarantee that I will get enough fiber in every meal, taking fiber capsules made with psyllium with my daily breakfast seems to do the "trick," if you know what I mean.

OOOH I have got to try this!!!

I agree! That was my mindset as well. Thank you! :)

So then I need to: - Increase my calories to around 1400 - Try to include more exercise if possible - Avoid carbs??

TDEE method? What is that? MFP put me on 1200 calories/day... what should I be on then? Thank you all!

Your story sounds so close to mine. ;( I have no memory of being a normal weight, either. The lowest my weight has been in my LIFE was between 6th and 7th grade, when my father made me drink Slim Fast shakes (made with water instead of milk) everyday for three months. My current weight is 189; my lowest adult weight was…

Feel free to add me- I am trying to re-find my motivation, so having some Friends push me should help!

I am currently in the Navy but having to leave due to my weight. Nevermind the fact that I can pass the PT test easily- I am just overweight. Oh well, it's still an honorable discharge. Now i am going to lose weight FOR ME, not FOR THE NAVY.

Thank you very much to everyone who responded- I learned a lot from this post and I will check out some of these links. :) If anyone is willing to help me figure out how to eat on a tiny budget (I live in Maryland, USA) then Friend me and help a woman out! :)

Let me start by saying that I agree with everyone else on here, that 500 calories/day is 99.999% not medically advisable. HOWEVER, having said that. back in December of 2012 I lived on 600 calories/day for three weeks in order to make my Navy weigh-in, and I agree with you I felt SO GOOD. It was INSANE how good I felt.…

Hi! For push ups you can start on your knees (it's called a modified push-up). You just try to keep your back/tummy as straight as possible. As your core starts to get stronger (with planks and everything else) then you can move up to full push-ups. I hope this helps! Cheers!

Hello! I just had shoulder surgery and have been asking my friends this same question for when I am able to work out again. It seems like the number one thing I continue to hear is incline walking on a treadmill, and for DVDs it's either Jillian Michaels Body Revolution or anything by Beach Body (Brazilian Butt Lift, etc).…
