Today I shaved 2 minutes off my mile run! I'm now at a 10 minute mile and I still had enough energy in me to do my regular workout of weights and aerobics too! Whoop! Super excited!

I cannot even imagine. Even now, at 233 I could not run to save my life. Ok, maybe then. Otherwise no.

    Good work!!

Quite possibly the fastest 400# woman in the world. I definitely couldn't run anywhere close to that carrying my wife, and together we're only 300#.

Thank you for your posting. I am extremely serious when I say that. I currently weigh 196 and can barely break 12 minute miles, but you are running 10 minute miles! YOU GO!!!

Very impressive. I can only imagine the looks you get on your running path when you blow by the skinny folk.

    Awesome!

May I make a suggestion? If you can now run a 10 minute mile (which s something a great many adults are incapable of doing) slow it down a bit and focus on time rather than distance (eg aim to run 12 minutes, then 14, then 15) as a way of building your aerobic base. (it's the longer, slower runs that really build cardiovascular endurance)

Don;t forget to give yourself a well deserved pat on the back!

Thanks Everyone! I appreciate so very much all the High Fives and great advice! Now that I know I can do a 10 min mile....I'll slow it down to build my endurance so I can run the entire 5k!
