  • I am sorry something so terrible has happened to you. Please make an effort to take the suggestions people have made as it is all sound advice. Also consider taking a ready-made protein supplement and some fruit juice to sip on throughout the day then have some nuts nearby to chew on also throughout the day. Take care of…
  • You CAN make a difference in your life! Many of us here have the same challenges you have - not knowing how we got to be so , not having any control over how much we eat etc., but that's what the community's good for - to share mutual challenges and share solutions. We are here for you. :flowerforyou:
  • What an awful time this clearly is for you! I feel deeply for you. I know the memories of your dog in your life are painful right now, but I'm sure in the future the love you shared will warm your heart
  • Great job you've done there!!! It's amazing how every part of your body is smaller! I'm crossing fingers that at my 63lb mark my boobs will also be smaller. Right now I'm 50-odd pounds down and mine don't seem to have shrunk in proportion to the weight loss of the rest of my body...
  • What's WRONG with some people! Clearly - very clearly - the person in both pics is the same person!! You've done a superb job and I'm truly inspired how much of a difference 40lbs makes. Enjoy the HOT new bod!
  • Wow! It's just amazing SEEING what the difference between XL and medium actually is. Congratulations on such a remarkable transformation - truly an inspiration to me who's still sitting with a fractional 43lb loss:blushing:
  • Yeah!!! Thnx for making the call cos the hip/thigh matter is a SORE point with me. Seeing all the curvaceous gals is a true inspiration and proves to me that it's cool to have some additional padding.
  • Thanks so much everyone for your responses. I definitely will take your advice - it's more than I was able to come up with on my own. :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for at least making me laugh! Yeah, I guess I'll just have to wait things out . . . . .
  • This month I AM making sure I put the 20%-off-original-weight-down trophy on my mantle! 20% (43 lbs) might not sound like much, but getting there will mean I have conquered 42% of the 103lbs challenge I'm on . . . . .and 42% of the way anywhere is better than I was 6 months ago (a fat 0%)!!!
  • Lol. You might feel the odd one out in your circle of friends (and maybe at work), but the truth is that there are MANY single chicks-past-the-age-of-25-years out there. Truly, it's no worse off than being part of a couple . . . . .believe me, there are not so great moments on either side of the fence! You appear to be a…
  • You are a star! I'm sure your life has changed 200%. I'm also 5"2 and love the fact that you're looking SO good at 152lbs - it means motivates me to push past the 182lbs I seem t be stuck at. Thank you for posting:flowerforyou:
  • Gosh, your are really showing quite some results, girl! I didn't have even a fraction of results like that with my loss of 26lbs at 3 months. Keep up the good work:flowerforyou:
  • Good grief, woman - are you for real?!!! Yours is an incredible story of how one can turn their life around 180 degrees! Truly inspirational . . . . .thank you for sharing this your achievement with us. You're a real role-model.:flowerforyou:
  • Well done! Lovely how your face has more definition (cheekbones and chin), and how your body's trimmed all over too -d'u think it's been the running's that helped with that or do you think it's been more from dieting? Love what you say on your profile about wanting to be known as the girl who's dedicated to exercise . . .…
  • I am speechless. What an achievement. Well done!!! You are BEAUTIFUL.
  • Sorry to hear that. There are sometimes days like that, but for sure there'll be brighter ones too. Hang in there:flowerforyou:
  • WHAT an inspirational story!! You've done a really, really good job. I love that you're now as active as ever (not just thinner), which is what I would love to also be able to say in 69lbs time. I fear being skinny-fat because that would mean I'm not any healthier. You've shown us what the perfect result of our efforts can…
  • What an achievement!!! What an inspiration! I've often doubted that it's possible that someone with a sedentary lifestyle can metamorphose into a MARATHON runner . . . .but here you are, you've just given me hard evidence. Well done, and all the best with your new healthier lifestyle to you and your wife:happy:
  • Great job!!! ?You're looking SO good, like you could even model  Well done!!!
  • Really, your story is just incredible. Your life really has changed - thank you for sharing.:flowerforyou: All the best for that triathlon!!! Your story already shows you have a LOT of strength in you:happy:
  • I recently got some tips on boosting your metabolism on Dr Oz's website - check it out. Good luck!!
  • Definitely finding it so difficult to find healthy food choices within easy access - junk food is EVERYWHERE I go, but if I don't take care to pre-pack healthy snacks etc. and have them in my bag/car, I run the chance of starving! Unfortunately pre-packing foods isn't my thing:mad:
  • Nice going! We're "snap" in a way - I'm trying to lose 104 pounds and so far have lost 34. I think you're taller though - I'm 5"2. All the best for the rest!
  • You're a different woman!!! You look superb, gorgeous. And your hubby hasn't done a bad job himself. Stories like yours motivate me SO much . . . . ANYTHING is possible, so it seems:happy:
  • You're being unfairly harsh on yourself! The question is what part of your body do you like, not how do you rate yourself overall!!! Try look at yourself with neutral eyes (forget the hogwash you've heard over the years about what is/is not attractive) nd examine all parts of your body. If you're being fair to yourself,…
  • Other goal clothes are high heels, boots and gorgeous LINGERIE!!!!
  • LOL @ "the ability to say I've changed my mind"! The fact that weight loss is always about putting you first is also SO important . . . . .Need to always remember THAT, instead of obsessing over an end goal!
  • Hv signed up to www.physicsdiet.com - I think I'm going to enjoy using it in addition to MFP. B.t.w. I'm also 5"2 - would love to be at the weight you're at! Is your profile pic of you at 167lb?
  • Gosh , hat sure must have been tough! Certainly way more difficult than even regaining weight. M SO happy that after all of that your daughter finally arrived! I will keep the perspective you're sharing in mind, when I'm in my "This is so hard" headspace. Thanks for your response:smile:
