I am doing it 3 times a week together with the shred, started it last week. I use a hrm and burn around 700 calories when I do it and more when I push myself to the limit. I am loving it!

So from this calculation my BMR came to 1485. I'm very active so I multiplied it by 1.6 for a TDEE of 2376. If I deduct 20% to lose weight I get down to 1901 calories a day. So is that what I should input on my calorie goals and then not eat the exercise calories?

Thank you so much for the info!!! I have around 15 lbs to lose so I have changed my goal to 1400 calories a day since it's the sedentary TDEE -20% and then I will input and eat my exercise calories. that should do the trick!
-
the only thing I don't understand is - My TDEE is 1786 (sedentary and then I add manually the exercise I do) so my goal would be 1429 (TDEE - 20%), correct? why does MFP puts me at a 1200 calories?
-
the only thing I don't understand is - if my BMR is 1488 as the calculations point out, and everyone says I need to eat at least at my BMR then why do MFP puts me at a 1200 calories? My TDEE is 1786 (sedentary and then I add manually the exercise I do) so my goal would be 1429 (TDEE - 20%), correct?

Hi guys, I'm also new here and have one simple question - when you say you're eating 1500 calories a day is that the net one after you deduct the exercise? I'm a bit confused on that... I play tennis and in one training session I can burn 700 calories (measured with HRM) so I usually am below my net of 1200 at the end of…

Thank you so much guys!!! I will stay close to my MFP calories after working out and then see how it goes then!
