I feel a lot better I was close to tears earlier I was so frustrated with myself, tomorrow is a new day, id appreciate any support to get me through this I've never added any friends on this before ( usually just read the forums) but I think I need all the help I can get so please feel free to add :)

Yeah I am trying to treat food as fuel too still a work in progress but being more mindful of what will give me energy for the day as opposed to just stuffing my face with whatever

I def agree the attention is hard at times and I feel pressure to keep going so as not to feel a failure ( I know i know I'm doing it for me and no one else) even though I can see on the scales iv lost alot of weight my eyes still don't see it in the mirror

I have alot of ongoing stress in my life none of which is going away anytime soon, I definitely have urges to comfort eat but I try not to give in, I need to learn to not comfort myself with food though. recently I've just eaten whatever I wanted even though I wasn't necessarily hungry, diet wise I've been eating better…

I was actually contemplating that, I guess I'm worried I'll go back to my old ways and put all the weight back on that I've lost.it feels like I've already started, like as soon as I relax my diet I just go sod it and eat all the things I shouldn't.

it may sound daft but its very easy to increase your calorie consumption...we all do it and that's why most of us are here! so you can choose slightly more calorific versions of what you are already eating if you feel you don't want to eat anymore in terms of quantity of food :) probably not the best advice you will read…

hiya i pulled a muscle in my shoulder a few days ago so i really do feel your pain! I tryed to rest it as much as possible, took some ibuprofen and placed a hotwater bottle on it over night and it was much better the next day, infact it didnt really hurt at all hope if you try the same it will help you too :smile:

hey lost 1 lb new weight 241lb, happy with that i know it could have been a bit better but i had a chinese last nite so im guessing iv retained a bit of water because of the salt content. oh well i enjoyed it and its the first time iv had a cheat meal so lunch is going to be a nice salad with plenty of water lol well done…

it is your calorie intake over the week that counts , so yes you could use the spare calories from yesterday (add up your calories over the last week ,aslong as you stay within the maximum for you, you should be ok e.g my intake is 1500 x 7 days) but be warned it can be a slippery slope! :smile:
