I can be really bad at this around when I'm premenstrual it undoes all my efforts. I've started making protein balls and 3 ingredient banana cacao and agave brownies so at least if it happens I'm not just eating rubbish. Or I'll take a banana to bed. It's hard x

Exactly this! I started strength training and gained but it's water weight because I have lost inches. Measure yourself too. Scales are evil sometimes. Don't give up now. This is when it really matters to not give up.

Well done for how far you have come already! One focused step at a time is a great path to follow. I wish you every success! x

Hi Nikki! When I started in January I felt miserable too... But 8 weeks on and I have lost 15 lb, cutting calories and lots of exercise and I don't feel miserable at all! I'll add you and help and motivate you because if you do it and stick with it you will feel great. I've gone from feeling really low to beaming with…

Yes, I can't wait to get on the scale in the morning! It keeps me on track but it also gets on my nerves when it fluctuates. I need to stop it really and do it once a week. I'm 8 weeks in so maybe I'll chill out and weigh once a week soon.

Hi, I'm mum of two aged 11 and 2. I was struggling to get out to classes or the gym so I bought an exercise bike and HRM. Best thing I ever did! I don't watch tv anymore once they are in bed, I get on my bike, put my headphones on and pedal away the pounds! I love it and I'm averaging an hour and 500+ calories 5 days a…

Hi Maureen! I'm in it for the beach body this Summer...and forever after too. I joined Mfp last year, used it for about a month and then just did nothing until this January. New attitude, totally focused and totally motivated. Nice to meet you! Sarah x

Mines a polar ft60f... There are polar f40's which are good too. Have a google.

I've had mine for about a month and I knew little about them before I saw all the posts on here. The main thing they do is help you target heart rate rate when you exercise. Some are really gadget orientated so it depends what level you want. Mine is a polar HRM...I did a lot of researching and I decided on a polar HRM.…

I have really bad middle of the night binges every week before TOM. I wake up and HAVE to eat and it's always carbs and Jaffa cakes/biscuits ands anything sugary. I'm half asleep and no matter how focused I am I just can't stop myself. So...I've found that if ai am prepared and have the snack ready by my bedside I'm not as…

Hi! Sounds like you have been on a real journey. Sometimes it's a case of try try and try again. Because each time you come back stronger. Giving up is the only fail. Sexy does not only come in physical appearance, but confidence is a massive part of sexy and attractiveness and that comes from how you feel about yourself.…

Hi I've been doing this since mid Jan and am in Lancashire. I log in every day and am limiting to 1200 cals too. I struggled to get to the gym having 2 kids so my hubby bought me an exercise bike. It's the best present he could have got me and its in my living room so there is no escaping it lol! I've seen changes already…

I've been wondering that too. I had struggled getting to a gym with having a young family so I have got myself an exercise bike, nearly one week in (I got it Monday) and I have been increasing the time and intensity starting from 15 mins to now 30 mins. I'm going to build it up to 60 mins a day and give myself 1 day a week…

Hi Sophie, I've just started back on here in the last couple of weeks. I did use it for a while last year but wasn't properly focused. I am now though and am determined to shed the weight by diet and exercise. I'm sure we can spur each other o along the way! Good luck! Sarah x
