  • guys need some help. as per MFP it says carbs allowed /day at 192 gm which is very high if i want to follow a low carb diet I think. How can i change this ? also is this the net or total? a bit confused on how to go about it. Help!!!

  • Hi can u tell me how u managed to sync the both. I'm trying to do that. The Samsung health says partner apps and I have mfp listed. However when I click on it there is days transfer to Samsung health about the input on Mfp
  • I carry a 1l bottle of water with me all the time and keep it in front of my eyes at work to remind me. I take a swigg every 30 mins so I finish it by lunch time and then refill again to finish by tea time. So I have a few more hrs for the final litre as I aim for 3l a day.

  • I would get a Heart rate monitor as that will give you the exact calories burnt
  • Ki Kathryn, Looking through ur food diary it seems that you are eating back ur exercise calories. you need to create a deficiet to lose weight. I would try and stick to eating back 10% of the exercise cals and not more. It is a simple equation- to loose 1lb/wk u need to create a deficiet of 3500 cals/wk.
  • I am doing level 2 of the KBand T and on an average loose b/w400-23- cal per session I am 5'2 in height and weigh 74 kg. Hope this helps

  • I was doing 1200 cal a day with exercise which burned around 400-420cals with HR MONITOR. however as I wasn't shifting the weight thought of doing the 5:2 . Hopefully this might help work
  • I'm using a food scale so every morsel that enters my mouth is counted. I'm also wearing a heart rate monitor during my work out to get the right calories burnt. I have been doing the kettle bells and Gillian Michael killer bums and thighs as that's mainly my problematic areas.

  • Hi Mandy, Its great to hear that you are losing weight. Keeping in mind that you are doing the Jillian Michaels DVD's which are a great way to burn calories, i still feel that it is worth getting a check with your doctor, just to make sure that there is no other medical reason for the wt loss.
  • Hi, I have been following the myfitnesspal for a few months now. I have recenlty started on the biggest loser protein shakes and bars and have been seeing a gradual drop in my weight. I do a shake for breakfast and then a protein bad for lunch with snacks every 3 hrs. For dinner it is a healthy meal which all is inclusive…

  • ICe and rest with antiinflammatories for a few days. if the pain isnt any better then ask ur doctor for a steroid joint injection as that will help with the tendon.
  • It is about creating a deficiet so that u are taking in less calories and burning more to lose wt. So if you stick to the recommended daily allowance then you are going to be adding to more calories lost in a day which will add up to the wt loss.
