Never worked for me I wish it had I'd be at goal plus more gone.

OK Fat2Fit shows that if he's Sedentary he should eat 2500 calories more or less to reach is ultimate goal weight of 225. That makes sense and that's what I set him at. 2965 it says if he does light excersise, which he'll probably do moderate, walking or hiking 4-5 days a week.

Off topic but...what race track are you at? looks like a short track.. I'm a big NASCAR fan too. I find I'd eat less at my race weekends than I did otherwise...

I thought I'd be at my first goal and working on my second, which probably would have been another 10-15 on top of my first 36 lb goal. I had no idea about plateaus and whatnot. But slow progress is better than no progress

Maybe part of the problem is you need more than 1200 calories a day so it's putting you in a bad mood..

Probably 2/3 of what I ate before, sometimes half. I just don't want to eat that much anymore. I didn't eat THAT much to begin with but I wasn't active and I was stressed all the time. Having measuring tools helps. If I want potato chips I measure out 1 serving of 150 calories worth, not mindlessly eat half the bag.

As much working out as you are doing, you probably need to be netting about 1600 a day not 1200. MANY people here, myself included, got over a plateau when we upped our calories and ate more.

I have lost over 25 lbs and have dropped about a size and a half and that's mostly due to my booty and thighs. I think when they claim that, they are appealing to the apple shaped folks that carry their weight in their stomach and the weight comes off more quickly there. I don't like fudge....way too sweet it makes me sick, and most cake icings I don't like. I always scrape it off and probably cut calories in half by doing that.

Check out the "Eat More to Weigh Less" group-- Most there are eating 1900-2100 calories a day and that's CUTTING for weight loss. Maintenance is 2300-2500 a day maybe more--depending on the person. Honey, there's Nothing wrong with a bite size of chocolate or a glass of wine. Don't beat yourself up over it. :-(

Thanks so much! I did go to Fat2Fit calculator and based on what I weigh now and what my goal is they say I should eat 2100 to get to my goal...so maybe I'm still not eating enough. I'll step it up another notch to around 1850-1900 and see if I'm not so darn hungry!

My favorite jeans tore in the butt, they won't look good. They were starting to hang off me on the waist anyways. So, I'll get a replacement pair, on Ebay....a size or 2 smaller! :-)

Choose where you will go and what you will eat ahead of time. Also many hotels will take you to a grocery store, when I'm gone long term like for a week or so, I get fruit, cheese, flavored waters, crackers, nuts, etc. It's never gonna be perfect but it will help you when you want to splurge on that nice meal while on the…

I found some Maidenform super push up bras, they increase 2x the cup size and they work! I had someone ask if I had a boob job lol

Calorie Cycling.. high days mixed with low days, it will all even out. :-) I did a low yesterday, will do a high today and maybe tomorrow too, because I know my weekend will be low.

Just eat half...that's usually a reasonable amount of calories for a meal. They serve such large portions at most restaurants it's insane...

I would LOVE to be able to do CrossFit but the one place in my area is 180.00 a month....WAY WAY WAY out of the budget. Why does it have to be so friggin' expensive? I get unlimited classes at my fitness studio for 50.00 a month..

To be honest, from looking at your diary, you are eating so far UNDER what you should be for calories, it wouldn't have killed you to have one breadstick if you wanted it. Any kind of a fruit or nut in a salad. Ranch or vinigarette dressing just doesnt mesh with that. YUCK. Any time I see salads with oranges, apples or berries and then meat/cheese/eggs, etc makes me wanna hurl.
