  • I also had a little difficulty exercising. Since it makes your heart race already, when I exercised I really thought my heart was going to come out of my chest and slap me in the face. My suggestion is if you are just taking it once a day (Which I PRAY you are) wait at least 4 hours before exercising. That always seemed to…
  • I currently am not using it, but have in the past. It was a great help to me at the time. It cut my cravings, gave me energy, and I dropped weight like crazy. However, be cautious. Not only did my heart start palpatating with prolonged use, it started to become less effective. When I stopped using it, my appetite returned…

  • Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely keep that in mind.
  • Thanks for the recipes and info! I have found a lot of recipes that call for them that sound delicious and healthy.
  • Thanks everyone! I am going to see if I can find a small(ish) amount to just try out. Can't hurt, right? :drinker:
  • Digestive issues like constipation or nausea?
  • I am 5'9" and have a large frame. My lowest I have ever hit was 190. I just couldn't break past that for some reason. With that being said, I thought I looked great at that weight, but still had a bit to lose (mainly toning). My physician gave me a goal of 165, but I have no idea how my body would have let me get there. I…
  • Thanks! I will check this out when I get home!
  • What are your percentages? I have mine at 40% for protein and that is saying like 170grams which seems like a lot.
  • I would think it would be Heavy Exercise based on the calorie burn and number of days per week you are doing the program.
  • I've got my protein set at 40% and carbs and fats at 30%. I've never really paid attention to the macros before. How important is it to stay within those margins? Right now I'm over quite a bit on carbs and sugars but have 2 servings of fruit and multi grain breads that are contributing over half of what my alotment is.
  • So even on days that I don't exercise this amount should still be ok?
  • Thanks for the input. Some of you had some great advice, and some of you were all out rude. If you actually read my post it stated that I didn't think it was fair to have him do without and that he shouldn't be penalized as well as knowing that this was my journey. I am rather shocked how some people can be so quick to cut…
  • Thanks for the info!
  • How much is the subscription?
  • I am eating my exercise calories back. Is there a best time to eat those?
  • If you are wanting breads and things like that that are low cal/ carb Healthy life makes a variety of breads that are between 5-6 carbs and around 35 cals a slice, Dreamfields pasta makes a low Net carb pasta with 5 grams per serving, and there is a fantastic pita bread that I just recently found (Joseph's Heart Friendly -…
  • You're "Why I want to get in shape" is very inspirational and reminds me that I am the most important reason for getting in shape. Thanks!
  • Thanks! That is a great site to keep handy
  • I don't eat before I run. I generally wake up, stretch, and then get going. I'm not very fast at all. I figured it had something to do with breathing, or form, or something like that. I try to deep breathe, but it doesn't seem to help much. I guess this is one of those things of "practice makes perfect." HAHA! I very much…
  • Thanks for all the great advice guys!
  • Also...Does running help tone the other parts of your body? i.e. tummy, arms, etc. I know it's primarily your legs, but the other muscles are working too... right? Did I mention I've never been a runner. lol
  • I have tried the Hunts version of this, and I seriously can't taste the difference. I like a little more seasoning in mine than they provide, so I always add a few extra herbs and garlic, but as far as the taste of the sauce...very good!
  • Here's my question with these... I know they keep the food cool, but do you know any that keep it cold. I'm one of those strange individuals that if the food is meant to be cold and it's only cool it kinda grosses me out... I used to do this with turkey sandwiches and it almost made the meat slimy which is why I stopped…
  • It mainly depends on if I do my workout in the morning or at night. I try to have the majority of my calories (mainly from protein) be right after my work out. If I am taking the day off I generally try to make the meals about the same and have at least a snack a couple hours after breakfast and lunch to keep the…
  • Thanks guys! I am doing some some free weight things too. I'll just keep at it. :) I just hope the flying squirrel loses it's wings, and it's not too late!!!!
  • This is true, unless one is drinking several servings... At one point I was drinking about 3 12 oz bottles (diet mtn dew) a day or more. I counted up the sodium and I was consuming around 160mg just from soda. That made me stop rather quickly.
  • One a day shouldn't make a huge difference. I generally have that just for the caffeine... But if you are drinking 3-4 a day or more it could be that you are getting a lot of sodium and retaining water. So, as I tell my friend that drinks 3-4 red bulls a day, you may need to "Lay off the smack" and just cut down.
  • I had forgotten about those... Those are killer, and I really loved those! They are now getting added to my routine. Thanks!
