  • Fast metabolism would equal weight loss when eating back exercise calories...surely?? Long term low calorie intake slows the metabolism as the body adjusts to survive on less energy this is why people find thier weight loss stops... But seriousy what ever works for you.... we are all so different thats what makes life…

  • The only problem if you eat too little is you may be losing weight but it could be lean tissue/muscle rather than fat, That is the main reason this site reccoments eating back exercise calories. Do you really do nothing all day other than exercise?? the bmr would mean resting (literally bed rest) ! I work on a busy…

  • Just noticed you are trying to maintain at 109 lbs I think the typical equatuion is 14 cals per lb?? (correct me if im wrong) that would mean you need at least 1500cals a day and eating back exercise calories not to lose any more weight xx
  • try to eat a bigger breakfast, and add high calorie healthy snacks like nuts and seeds when eating back your exercise calories...it wont do you any harm,....If your net intack is below 1200 you could be doing more harm than good x good luck x
  • Gosh I just worked out I apparently have a small frame so my ideal weight at 5'7.5" is 123-136lbs...123.seems small to me?? ...apparenly if your thumb and longest finger overlap when wrapped around your wrist that means you have small frame...problem is I have tiny wrists and massive hips lol
  • I find the opposite, my treadmill always says I burn more than MFP... but that may be because I use the incline on the treadmill and vary my speeds and stuff min by min and im lazy so in MFP i just input 30 jog or hour jog...so I go with the MFP values as I know the treadmill values are based on a 5'10" 170lb man (Or…

  • Do you suffer with food intolerances?? Just wondering why you were suffering with such bloating and considering a liquid diet? x
  • I wouldnt 1500 is a sensible amout, Just make sure you eat back any calories earned from exercise. If you have only been doing this a week or two the initial loss is always more then it will slow down ....keep it up, unless you feel unwell on the calorie allowance you are on im sure its healthy enough x
