5'8" - 5"11" Ladies, what is your goal weight?

I am just curious to know what any 5' 8' - 5' 11' ladies goal weight is. I want to know if my goal is within the norm.

I am 5' 10" and my goal is 160lbs.

    Sounds about right to me I'm 5'9 and shooting for 150 :)

    I'm pretty much at my goal weight. I'm 180- I think I might have 10 pounds to go... maybe but I'm built like a brick sh!thouse and I'm lifting ALOT. I'd be ok with staying at 180. I'm 5'10, my tummy's relatively flat, I'm a size 10/12 and I've pretty much kept my boobs. The last 10 pounds would probably be my boobs and that would make me sad. :wink:

    I'm 5'9". Goal weight is 150-160. My lowest adult weight was about 145, and I was too thin. My hip bones protruded, and I was constantly sick -- had no resistance. So 150-160 is my healthy goal. That will put me in a size 6 or 8... I love being tall
  • Yep..Mine is 168 and Iam just shy of 6 foot tall. Dont go any lower than 140 ish...that is the lowest recommended weight for your body height. Go to www.mvm.com and it allows you to see what you will look like at that weight. Its fun too and free! :-) Hope this helps!!

    I originally was shooting for 145 because I wanted to have a number in mind..but I will know better once I get down to 150-160..I want to go by how I feel & how I am looking..I am pretty sure I would be okay anywhere btwn 145 and 160

    I'm 5'8 and my goal weight is around 145...I find it a maintainable weight. I was 137 for my wedding but I had to be to strict in order to maintain it!

    So i think that 5 foot and 180pounds....wanting to be 132lbs
  • i'm 5'10 and currently aiming for 150-175...i'm have a bigger build, so i'm just going to adjust my goal when i get close to it and stop whenever i think i look healthy!:)

    I'm 5'9" and for my body type a normal weight is around 140. I would say that it depends on each persons individual body-type.

    I'm taller, I'm 6'1", but thought I would reply anyway. Today my weight is 158 and I still have more body fat than I would like (especially my belly). I'm planning on working on it in 5 lb increments. I actually never thought my weight would be this low, but here I am and still need to lose a little more. I'm currently a size 8 and some of those a getting a little loose on me, so I guess it is possible I will end up a size 6.

    I have an hour-glass figure & according to most websites I've found, I am considered to have a medium frame...& my goal weight is to maintain between 154-159!!! Good luck!

    I'm 5'9 and mine is 160. I figured once I hit that then I'll see if I need to get any lower. lol

    I'm 5'9" & my goal weight is 135. My weight has been between 135 and 155 for as long as I can remember. When I 1st started using MFP, I weighed about 152 but the way I was eating, there's no telling how much I would weigh now. Although I'd love to weigh 135 again, I'd be pretty darn happy @ 140! =D

    i am 5'10 and I am aiming for 160lbs. If I became any smaller, I would look sick because I have a large frame.

    I am 5'9" my goal weight is 160lbs. I am a larger more muscular build and when I was 150lbs, I was too skinny.

    I'm 5'9" and I'm aiming for 140 which is my pre AND post pregnancy weight. Actually, I'm aiming to fit into the Aust size 10 "Events" dress that I wore to my kids' christenings....and I was around 63kgs then (139 pounds). I only started to put on weight when my love of red wine increased exponentially with my love of pasta, cooking and Thai curries.

    I am 5' 10" and have never been thin. I listed my goal weight as 180 and I think that is as low as I would go with my frame, even though according to the BMI chart I would still be technically over weight.
    Overall, I am not dwelling on numbers. I am on a quest to get healthy, to feel comfortable in my own skin and to feel good about myself.

    I'm 5'8", and my general goal is to be at 140. That's just a number, though, because I tend to gain a lot of muscle. At 168 lbs, I've worn pants sizes between 11 and 15, if that shows you what I mean. I'd love go get into size 7 pants... that's probably around where I'd stop, because that would require quite a bit of weight loss and toning.

    I am 5'9, large muscular frame, turns out I am slowly developing an hourglass figure! My ultimate goal weight is 170. But I am being realistic.... was 180 about 15 years ago and felt like a millions bucks. It is more about feeling well, healthy, self confident and hot more so than a specific number.

    5'11" If I get to 170, I will be really quite happy. That is my high school weight. HOWEVER> I always thought I was chunky in high school too so I might really try for the dream goal of 150 just to see who the heck is hiding in there.

    I'm just over 5'9" and my first goal is to get just under 169 (healthy BMI) and then see how it goes from there (aka how I feel). I would love to get into the 150's though...that's what I was in college/when I met my husband and felt really great but 10+ years and 2 kids later I'm not sure if that is realistic.

    Mygoal is 135lbs im 143lbs at the mo and although this is a healthy wieght, I need to tone.
    I am pear shaped and carry unwanted wobbly bits on my botttom and thighs so my shape is more relevant than the number on the scales 135lbs is just a figure ill see how it goes x

  • I'm 5'11" (and a half :) ) CW is 234 Lbs- goal weight I think is going to be about 170lbs. I hadn't really thought about it. I need to be in at least a UK size 18 by christmas though- hubby has promised me a shopping trip if I am. :)
