Hi, I'm up in Scotland doing the 5:2 diet and would love some new MFP friends who are doing this plan too :) Just finishing my first week and I'm loving it so far, just would like to up my exercise alongside the plan!

I was on the facebook page for it and it says that it's 300-500 calories. So I'm putting down 300 just now since I'm only on level one and just build it up as I go up the levels. Hope that helps :) How are you getting on with it?

Feel free to add me, I live up in Scotland. Love being able to give some support back to people so it's here if you need it :)

Oh I like the sound of the 10/1 method, makes it a lot less scary! Thanks very much for your help :)

I've had the same problem since I can remember! I went to the doctor to get him to check it out and he said there is a problem with my knees tracking system so when I bend it then put it straight it needs to pop a little to get back on the right course. He said there is no danger of it getting worse but if I want to…

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm going to start having eggs for breakfast now and start using protein shakes and hopefully I'll be able to get enough protein!

Feel free to add me! I've only been doing this for a few weeks and both having and giving some support would really help me out :)

I've just taken the test and it said I am a protein type as well. I'm quite keen to try this type of diet but I can't seem to find any foods which I should definitely avoid. Do you have any tips on what I shouldn't be eating? Thanks :) x

You can add me! I'm 5'6" and my goal weight is around 145ish. I'd love the support as I've not got any friends on here yet! And I would be there if you needed a little boost :)

I would love to join in! My starting weight is 168 pounds and I would really like to get down to 161 by the end of February. My daily calories intake is 1450 and I aim to do 2-3 cardio workouts a week each lasting 45-60 minutes. Good luck everyone! Louise x
