I think you'll just have to try it and see what works for you. :)

perfect advice :)

i think it depends on your body. I find the elliptical easier so I do it if I am in the gym because the treadmill scares me. I know i am more likely to keep it up if i enjoy it. However the one you find harder is probably better for you exercise-wise. The real question though is which are you more likely to do regularly?

This is how I want to live... just gotta shift some more weight first!!

YUp got it from a supervisor at work... I told her i'd stop when my BMI was in the healthy range... you can't really argue with that!

Irish size 8 all the way through to Irish 20... :/ (Most are 12, 10 and 14)

Yup you can totally do it again!! You might need to change the method though to one that will help you to stick with it for longer and help you to maintain the new weight. :)

NSV!!! That's really great! :)

Apparently bananas, cherries and grapes aren't great foods for dieters... maybe stick to other fruits that aren't as sweet.

Can i ask what ye aim for with the calories?? Do you try to hit 1,200 every day? I never intend on eating back exercise cals, if I do it isn't because I planned to!Usually i hope to eat just under 1,000 do give me the spare 200 for things that might not have made it into my journal like a splash of low fat milk in my tea…

You are right, they are SOOO low. To be honest I just don't know. I am sick of the restrictive-ness of the diet now... this is my fourth month and chicken, turkey, ham, eggs and yoghurt though tasty are becoming less appealing. Today at work all I wanted was a muffin... i had it! Now I was under on my cals,my sodium, my…

Ohhh I don't know to be honest... I think the pp/PV rotation is a key part of the diet. I totally agree with you that it seems bonkers that salad and veg are not allowed but I think it is to keep your carbs way down...I think it might be how the diet stays ketogenic. If it wound not have any negative impact then phase two…

Maybe it is because you are eating back the excersise calories?? Could your HRM be misleading you??

I have sugar free jelly... Always helps me :) but more recently I have been having one expensive chocolate a night with a cup of good coffee... I treat it like a quasi-religious experience!

Of course we celebrate Paddy's day!!! Hmmm side dishes ... Calcannon is yummy and very Irish; just google for recipes.

I'm the same, every morning... It keeps me focused :)

The scale is so so stupid and frustrating!!! It is also your best friend when it tells you that you have lost. Today the scale is an idiot! You KNOW that you have done the right things this week... I think you should forget the second reading, focus on your first one from this morning and know that next week it will be…

working with the public... it's tough! Well done for keeping your cool and managing not to say something you would have wound up regretting. It's not food related but the other week I had a customer (i'm a waitress in a hotel) ask me when I was going to get a real job... cheeky old git!

Give me two more months and i will be at 140 down from 209...I'll post pics then :) If you would like motivational support in the interim feel free to add me. I'm currently at 160lbs, Katie
-
Yup you definitely can. To me working out is going to the gym doing a good cardio routine followed by a weights program. You will leave the gym feeling amazing but might find it tough to make yourself go the three-four times a week you should. I am losing weight without going to the gym, i do excersise though. I walk to…

I give myself trips away for bigger mini goals, farther away the more important I view the loss. For one goal I got new glasses :) next mini goal is 200g's away and it is a trip to London. I divided my weight loss of 70lbs into 8 mini goals and now I'm almost at my 5th Goal!!! Maybe tomorrow I'll be booking my next reward!…

Hey, I'm southern ;) but yea we do use the UK sizes... I still find it scary because size 0 in the US is a UK size 2... I have never seen this size in a shop but now that I think about it I don't remember seeing any size 0's in US shops either... Are they common???

I'm Irish and on our shows the women are usually a very fair representation of the women in the real population... Some are skinny some are fat most are in the middle... But when it comes to the American TV shows... Oh my god there is a HUGE difference! The women are so so so small! This size zero business is actually…

These medications prevent your body from absorbing fat, don't they? What about sugar, surely that is by far a bigger culprit for us dieters???

Oh I hated it too! It should have Vegan somewhere in the title as a warning!
