You dropped 60 lbs...and about 15 years

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/554929 There are some really good tips there, it's really helped me to deal with reducing my calories more this week! In the end you just have to remind yourself that you are a grown up who can make decisions especially about what you put into your body. Recognize that you absolutely can…

blueberries....plus salt and sugar, but only a tsp or two (of the sugar.)

I'm 5'5 and only 18 I do cardio for 30 minutes 5-7 days a week plus I use the weight machines for like 20mins whenever I'm at the gym for cardio. I log what I eat almost every day. Occasionally on the weekend I go over, but not over my maitenance calories - yet I still gain everything back, this has led me to the…

Hahaha my aunt and uncle don't know me very well but they do know I am vegan, so guess what I got for christmas? yeah, lol.

Exactly. Curvy means hourglass shaped, to men and and many women, and sure you have to be a little heavier for that, but "curvy" does not mean overweight or obese.

I'm nearly 5'5 and my goal is 115 BUT if, when I get there, I decide I'm ok with 120 then I will stay there and if I decide 115 is too much maybe I'll try for 110. I have a smallish frame but I think I'm more of a mesomorph so PROBABLY 115.

google shangri-la diet.

There's a lot of chemistry behind it that isn't fully understood by doctors let alone me, but a calorie is NOT a calorie. From what I know avoid sugar ESPECIALLY FRUCTOSE (like corn syrup which is in anythingprocessed, really) although small quantities in fruits and veggies with fibre is fine, don't drink pop or even…

Sure, that's the same as drinking water in terms oh being very hydrating and having no calories. I find white and green tea suppress my appetite somewhat as well. Good luck!

where do you shop?

I'm from Canada and normally a size 6. In the US I'm a four and in the Europe I can be as high as a ten (yeeps). So it depends on where you live. It depends on the store too. Am I a six at aeropostle? Probably not. American eagle? max a size 6. But yes, I do think they are making clothes bigger than they used too. I like…

Hahaha yes. Add a little caffeine to the mix? I'll be in the bathroom 3 times just over the course of my lunch hour. People notice. They tease me, but not in a mean way :P

The thing that works best for me is to just remember that a) my feelings of depression/hopelessness/whatever will pass, they are probably just the result of low blood sugar or pms, normally I can deal, b) that eating will only make me feel better for a minute and worse for days...even years if I keep it up, and c) that I…

um um um working out at least 6 days a week no fruit, no bread, no starchiness, no refined sugar, no grains at all really, 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking - just following my diet really I can see muscles (wimpy girl muscles, but muscles nonetheless) yeah, think that's it. hoping to see some scale victories…

I don't know. I think I would find it more inspiring to be called a fat gluttonous pig. If I was already perfect, I wouldn't bother with all this.

I'm vegan :) have been for about 2 years now. It's totally true that being vegan doesn't necessarily mean being thin, although it does help your odds a good deal - I've read statistics like 60% less likely to be obese! Luckily I'm not even technically overweight (unless you take frame size into account eeeep!) but I do…

I've stopped eating fruit because it put me so far over my daily recommended serving of sugar, because it is not allowed in the 4-hour body slow-carb diet and I haven't been able to lose weight previously. I read that fructose, the sugar in fruit, is readily stored as fat by the body (as opposed to being used for energy)…

geeez that sucks :( I need to purchase a food scale

It's fantastic. You can also puree white beans if you need protein and whatnot.

I have noticed there is a lot of conflicting information! Bread is not really a problem for me. I have never much liked it and as long as there is no earth balance (vegan margarine, which they clearly tried to make sound far healthier than it is lol) I don't eat much of it. I have definitely heard about complex carbs verus…

You are a.m.a.z.i.n.g. I actually NEED the shred now...so jealous
-
Thanks! I've been meaning to get my hands on the shred, but I'm kind of broke and already have a gym membership anyway....Let me know if it's worth it :)

Sounds good!! Start sunday? I have exams :(

vegan maple baked beans from ohsheglows.com. my dad is by no means a vegetarian but he loves them.

That is amazing! Makes me want to try it. Can you access the tutorial free online?
