I ate a whole one! LOL

I too am back again regained nearly 2 stone out of 4 1/2 lost :( Looking for more buddies for support as lots have left! Do you want another motivation partner? Louise

I looked older initially, but it seems to have settled down and everyone is telling me how much younger I look. Having said that, I've always looked after my skin. I also liked to think that I followed a pretty healthy diet too - not too many pre-prepared foods and lots of fruit and veg in their natural state.

I have the flex and I find it really motivates me for tracking my steps. It links in with MFP and will give me extra calories for activities I haven't registered on MFP. For example, I record my elliptical trainer but no longer record general walking as it's difficult to measure how fast I'm going but the flex does that…

Well done on your weight loss - Fantastic! ..........and you've eloquently illustrated the point you were making.

I carrying on walking but put a bit of extra padding around the blister. Your shoes must be rubbing but you can break them in. Just check they fit properly and support you as they should. I have a big red one at the moment but carry on everyday with a bit more padding where the blister is.

Don't hate yourself - the first step to getting where you want is to love yourself the way you are. Look at your positives - your healthy, live in beautiful France, two great little boys (I'm sure!) and you've made a key decision to come back here. I've lost 49lbs with MFP and if I can do it, anyone can. You need to turn…

Depends on the size of your cup I guess. I would use a bigger cup and add 116 grams or if you think you've got enough, work out the calorie total for 81 grams.

I'm from England and I care when it puts a strain on our NHS. The cost of bariatric equipment alone is putting a massive strain on budgets. You have the choice, as with some other 'lifestyle choices' as to whether you overeat or not but when it means that certain drugs can't be paid for to treat illnesses people not caused…

I've been logging calories since May and can't imagine not doing it now. In fact I'm looking forward to Christmas logging just to see how much I really do eat even if I am going to relax a bit over the holidays......

This - thirst has a lot to answer for.....

Black (proper) Coffee (not instant) and a one egg omelette with 25g cheese melted into the middle and folded. Lovely!
-
Very rare that I was called fat, big or whatever to my face - I usually found that 'you look well' was the euphenism for 'you've put on weight' lol
-
Ha, ha... ditto. I will be doing the exercise though to try and make me sweat and keep warm........
-
I also sit at a desk all day apart from the exercise I make time to fit in. I walk 2.5 miles at lunch time (I built up to a brisk pace from being relatively unfit) and I fit some cardio and weights in around the rubbish that is on telly during the evenings. I also watch my portion size and fit in as much veggies as I can.…

I was an 18/20 in May and I'm now a 14/16. This was a motivating factor in itself as I had a rack of great clothes (with the labels still on) which I can now fit into and this has kept me on the straight and narrow (ooops, pun there!). No fancy diets, just smaller portions of what I like to eat (although I have dropped…

You're now on MFP and have made the first change you need. Log everything, watch your portions and start to exercise gently, increasing as you go on. As you start to lose weight and tone up, those comments will become more positive rather than negative. Good luck!

I have potatoes in one form or another, nearly every day - I just make sure to count them - and I'm doing alright!
-
Well done! I think you said it yourself - you've a happier relationship with food. No doubt, at one stage, you would have done what I would have done which is think you've blown it and given up at the whole thing. Through MFP, I am now developing the same mentality of enjoying it, counting it, and moving on without letting…

Yes - I notice that too but there are too many example to list here.........
-
Well done! However, all changes made to break the plateau would be gratefully received if you could post them here for when we need them, lol
-
lol - Best of all is when you find 'new' stuff in your closet now fit - you know the ones - with the label still on that never fit you in the first place and you were always going to slim into them........
-
I love these success stories! They are so inspiring! Well done - you look fantastic!
-
Sorry Teresa - missed your post. You are right the group has been quiet for a while and it would be good if we were more active. Seems we're not so fiesty after all, lol. I'm 52 and had about 50lbs to lose but am well on my way 20lbs gone. Feel free to add me if you like. I log in daily (except when I went on my hols as…

Fantastic! You look great and are such an inspiration!

You look fantastic! Well done - what an inspiration to us all!

I walk 2.5 miles in 40 minutes so you could probably do 2 miles as it wouldn't involve anything more than a change of shoes.
