I'm a 32c and I like the Moving Comfort brand. They have s lot of styles and I think they'd be good for most medium-sized women. ETA: I laughed when I saw this topic in the "Support" forum.

I love this. B) Edited to fix my rusty quoting skills.

You guys are all amazing! Supposed to do workout B today but the gym was way too crowded -- no chance at the squat racks :( I did this instead: Ran 1.4 miles (gave me 25 on the week) OHP: 5x10@40 Goblet squats: 4x10@40 DL: 5@115,5@135,5@145,3@155 Cable crunches:12@5,12@6,12@7 Hip thrusters: 12bw,12@20,12@30 50 min…

This. My 11 year old daughter told me that kids her age at camp are already using "diet pills."

I worked in the ER last night and, as per tradition, everyone who had a shift brought a little something and one of the outlying hospitals sent pizza as some sort of thank you gift for accepting their referrals throughout the year (strange, really). So here's what I had (I'm estimating at least 3000 cals for the shift): 5…

I saw a woman walking on the treadmill today kind of randomly waving her arms in the air. I only realized it was part of her workout when she kept doing it for her whole workout -- about 20 minutes.

Please post what your doc says if they figure it out. I've been having the same -- night sweats, puffy eyes When I get up in the morning, and being cold all the time.

Got stuck at work waiting for other people to do stuff so that I could get my work done, so I did a bodyweight workout: Each circuit 5x with 45 sec rest in between, then start next circuit: Circuit 1: 20 pushups 20 bench dips 45 sec wall sit 30 russian twists Circuit 2: 60 sec plank 30 flutter kicks 10 diamond pushups 30…

I heard of an interesting concept once. I think it was called "irony."

Actually, what I said was that regulation of markets goes back to Smith. The idea of using government specifically to address inefficiencies goes back to Mill and Brackenridge, though they did not use the term imperfect imformation. They applied it to externalities unrelated to financial markets, btw.
-
We've got a holiday where we're supposed to get drunk, too. Google Purim. Of course the fasting holidays can be kind of a bummer...
-
The idea of imperfect information leading to market inefficiency is not a new one. Using government to regulate markets goes back to Adam Smith. LMGTFY.

Poor goyim, only one day to get their calories in... But seriously! We got 8 nights of a festival where we are commanded, not encouraged, commanded to eat fried stuffs. Latkes (potato pancakes) with apple sauce and sour cream, donuts filled with all sorts of stuff, oil all over the place. Anyone wanting to really up their…

It occurs to me that though many are saying that a government mandate to provide nutrition information is getting in the way of business, the mandate will actually make a free market in restaurant meals a possibility. The concept of the free market, and the idea of the "invisible hand" guiding it, presupposes perfect…

Not on topic, but I got a deep tissue massage yesterday. It was soooo nice. Really intense at times but I feel like she freed up stuff that's been tight for a long time. My legs especially feel much more, well, functional today than they have in a while. I'm looking forward to my next lifting day to see if holding my form…

Workout B today: I think I discovered the consequences of doing my whole run (4.8 miles today) before lifting. Strangely enough, the squats felt ok, but that's probably because I had to deload. Squats 5x5@95 lbs, had to deload after having trouble getting past 105 :-( OHP: I was supposed to go up to 60 lbs today, but I…

When I was a kid I wished my curly hair would be straight. When I hit puberty I got my wish... sort of. Now it's just wavy enough to be unmanageable but not enough to look actually wavy. I guess that fits in the "be careful what you wish for" category.
-
Mixed it up a bit today because of a change in schedule. Squat: 3x8@95 BP: 3x10@65 Rows: 3x10@55 Bus drivers: 2x10@10 Walking lunges with DB hammer curls: 2x10@12.5 Tricep extension (cable) 3x10@3.5 plates Also ran 6.1 miles.

Yeah. I need to get all that aggression out that comes from a woman lifting heavy. Otherwise I might get too manly... or bulky... or just plain testosterone crazed.
-
I agree about challenging sexism, honestly, and I tend to be pretty aggressive about it, actually. It would have been hard to say much in this cae since I was in the middle of a set and going over to the guy when I was done to bring it up just seemed too awkward to deal with. Had I been part of the conversation, or even…

Pina coladas, even virgin ones.

Not sure if this is terribly relevant to this discussion, but I just had to get it out. I was doing my usual Saturday morning workout with the usual crowd that goes to the gym at opening time on Saturday. There's this one guy who's probably in his mid-50s or so who's a real loudmouth. Generally he keeps it to borderline…

@MissHoliday -- way to get it done, even with the prosecco! I always feel a lot better after those post-indulgence workouts than during. Ran 1 mile to warm up Knees bugging me again on squats but better today, so just 3x5@105. OHP was hard but I did all 5x5@55. Will try 6x5 next time @55 before adding weight. DL: 5@95,…

I've been enjoying both of those. It's kind of like watching reality TV, I think. Devolves into human nature at its worst after a while and it's entertaining in small doses.
-
Messed around with squat form with the empty bar. Knees hurt least with wide stance and toes pointed almost 45 degrees, but also better with narrower than usual stance and about 20 degrees on the toes. Will need to keep working on this. BP: 5/4/4/5/4 @72.5 -- this was a bit better than last time, so I'm pleased. Rows:…

Just signed up for my first marathon: Pittsburgh in May. Oh my... My one and only goal for 2015 is to run this race and still enjoy running afterwards!
-
Everything felt truly awful today. I've been eating at a 500 cal deficit since I got back from my vacation (Saturday) to make up for the all-inclusive resort. I took that all-inclusiveness as a challenge and I'm paying for it now! I *hate* being hungry all the time! Ok, whining over for now... Today's workout: 1 mile run…
-
Sure. I missed a few days on vacation recently, but I generally track *very* meticulously.
-
I was a runner first and started lifting weights only recently, so, yeah, the running is the easy part for me. LOL. A lot harder after the squats, though!
