  • I try to avoid buying snack foods, I find that if I don't have them in the house,I'm usually too lazy to go buy some more and make a proper meal instead! haha. As far as exercise goes, structure is really helpful to me. Doing something like the 30 day shred or month long program like c25k motivate me because I have to keep…
  • Day 2 done yesterday! My husband and brother in law worked out with me which was nice. It made me feel better that they thought the workout was tough too. lol

  • Hi I'm Laura, I'm 23. I started on myfitnesspal to lose weight for my wedding two years ago. Well, I lost the weight and then gained it all back! I'm starting fresh this year and hope to get back into shape.
  • This is my second time trying the 30 day shred..I did it last year and got half way through before I got too busy. This year I determined to complete it! Did day one today and it was tough but I made it. =)
  • I try to exercise in the morning. That way I don't put it off, and I feel more energy throughout the day.
  • thank you for the advice!
  • I'm on the lightly active setting right now, I usually bike or walk to work (1 1/2 miles), and work 15 hours a week at most.I would say I'm eating at least 1300 a day. Honestly other than biking I haven't exercised at all because being so busy. But I just finished this school term so I have no excuse!
  • I'm 5'4. My starting weight was 130, my cw is 124 and I hope to get down to 115 or 120.
  • I think you can use the exercise calories you burn to eat, as long as you maintain a 500 calorie deficit.

  • Yay! Me too. I found out that I was doing some the exercises wrong though ; like crossing my legs doing the girl push ups instead having them straight.
  • I have to say that cliff bars are really delicious and healthy.
  • I'm in! I started a little bit early(on day 2) but oh well. =) Looking forward to seeing how everyone does and what they think of it.
  • I started the 30 day shred yesterday, and wow even by the afternoon I was feeling sore. Debating whether I should work out today as well since I run tomorrow. To the people who do the 30 day shred and c25k, is it better to do the 30 day shred every day or is that too much?
  • well, finance, good: He is really sweet, never called me fat or overweight and tells me I look skinny after I work out, lol. bad: he thinks I shouldn't count calories and is always(always!) trying to get me to eat junk food with him or eat more in general. It's frustrating to keep saying no, that's unhealthy.
  • I definitely understand your problem, I've been on my diet/exercise plan for 20 days and haven't lost any weight, but I have felt somewhat more toned in some areas. So I think you just need to continue doing what you are doing and the weight loss will come eventually =)
