yay congrats! I love your attitude, I will also tell my cookies/candy not to steal my calories!
-
some people believe they do, but I'd suggest just sticking to your goal for the day if you can, otherwise maybe eat 100-200 cal. more.

I have had NO issues with bikinis so I'm sticking to them. I save my thongs for other occasions

I was about to come in here and slap you, but no, hahaha. Nice one.

I'm in! I usually do 3 sets (of 4 reps) of 30 secs each. I'm usually drained by the last two reps, but I'll try seeing how long I can hold just one. We should do an initial list of starting times.

welcome! feel free to add me, I'm 3 lbs away from my goal and will hopefully be on maintenance soon! good luck
-
Depends on your calorie allowance and appetite! I love some crunch in my food, I'd actually love to have the whole wheat tortilla and crumble up a bit of the taco and sprinkle it inside.

Ooooo I never thought of changing it manually. I found it weird sugar was the one thing I consistently go over, ever if I just have one banana and the slightest bit of milk.
-
ooo bumping this, I love chicken :)

If you're over your calorie goal by 2pm, you need to focus on distributing your calories wisely and practicing control. Plan out if you want a meal to be heavier than the rest, and allocate a set number of calories for it, and distribute whatever is extra for snacks and smaller meals. I like to even out my calories and am…

Yep, definitely go for the machine if it has a HRM and calculates age and gender. Be careful with machines that don't have HRM's, my treadmill at home is old and was designed to calculate for some overweight person who burns almost twice as fast as I do, so I was overestimating for a while until I got my HRM.

My parents and one brother are all overweight, I've been borderline overweight but brought myself down to 118lbs. It's not genetics, like goalseeker said, both of my parents were skinny/normal throughout their lives, they've just let go. I've also looked at them and thought that that's what the future has in store for me,…

Although you may think otherwise, I think switching birth control pills could be the answer, regardless, you need a new OB/GYN as soon as possible. If you're hormonally imbalanced it's important that you get the right birth control pill, some have higher concentrations of certain hormones and some have lower, so if you're…

I'm 5'2" and a loose size 6 at 118. I don't think you should worry about what brand of clothes you can fit in, since there's still so many cute things out there for any size! Focus on gradually losing inches and soon enough you'll have to go shopping for new clothes :) It depends on your proportions, but I've heard people…

hi prila :) thank you for sharing your story! you're definitely an inspiration and proof that consistency pays off. I'm also trying to get down to 115 and am 5'1", I've weighed the most at 139 thanks to eating junk during college and not caring one bit about my health - time to change! I was tired of looking at myself and…

oooooo this is awesome, bookmarked!

for your height and weight I think 1,200 might be too little, I'm 5'2" and 120 and am usually hungry at 1,200 cal...

5'2" here, currently weighing 119, trying to get down to 115 so I have 4 pounds to go. I'm thinking that'll be enough to get rid of my super flabby thighs without looking like a skeleton. Congrats on hitting maintenance! I can't wait to be able to eat a little more  I'm also curious to know, what's everyone's…

Even though I'm set to sedentary I don't log absolutely everything like cooking and cleaning since it's not a huge difference, unless I do more than one hour of it and am feeling more active than normal. If I'm not huffing and puffing and breaking a sweat, I don't think it entitles me to eating more cookies :)
