Me and my wife do a cheat DAY every Saturday. We intentionally go over our calorie limit. I have lost 67 lbs in 2 months and my wife has lost 16 lbs in 2 months.

Drinking water is not the primary way to remove sodium out of your body. It's #1 increasing your potassium and #2 sweating it out. I have a lower amount of potassium today, so I'm wanting to sweat out the sodium today.

He was hesitant on putting me on medication, due to that I recently made a lifestyle change and wanted to check with me again in December. He said, just keep on what your doing and we'll see if it comes down. Oh and thanks, not having diabetes is great news!

Kind of scary knowing how little control I have over my HDL and LDL within my body. Since you seem educated in this, mind giving me some dietary tips too get it lower without medication?

Thank you very much. This is a wake up call for me. I just hope I can combat my high cholesterol levels with diet and exercise without having to go on medications.

So is it safe to assume MOST LDL cholesterol is from saturated and trans fats?

Oh wow. Please explain. And why can't foods display HDL and LDL cholesterol? It would be nice to scan an item and say "Wow, that has LDL cholesterol, I should stay away from that"

Guess what Arnold Schwarzenegger drank and ate during his Mr. Olympia days... It wasn't clean eating thats for sure. (Drank a lot of pop, hot dogs, etc)

That's what I use! I fry two slices of turkey bacon first and then take out the bacon and pour the egg whites on top of the turkey bacon grease and add pepper and one cheese slice. Yum!

I'm 441 lbs and let me tell you...As much as I love walking, my feet paid the price and have foot pain from time to time. My recommendation? Swim. I'm addicted to it and its great for cardio!

How is this possible? Do fat people (Like myself) have a higher BMR than what is shown in the calculations? This does not make sense, sorry. Or are you taking into account water weight?

I'm simply stating that Your body uses calories for fuel. If you digest less that what your body uses for fuel for a day, then you burn fat. Simple. I used a 2L bottle of Coke as just a crazy example, it may be unhealthy to do so, but it shows that sugar is NOT the culprit.
