  • I hanen't in a while, but when I do I use yeast, flour, water, some oil (not a lot), and a pinch of salt. I think the recipe I use calls for a dash of sugar as well, but I can't recall. That's for the dough. Then I use store bought pizza sauce if I'm making a non-chicken pizza. Add pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms and…
  • It's not, it's just that a lot of women (not all) perceive men who practice chivalry to be weak or "putting them on a pedestal" which is not an entirely accurate portrayal of the practice of chivalry. Thus that leads to men being less chivalrous as time goes on and they have kids who are less chivalrous and so on.
  • Got one my first year here. Haven't seen one since nor heard of anyone else getting any. No overtime pay this year either as there's not enough work.
  • Yeah I played the demo as well. It reminded me of a mix between Pikmin & Earth Defense Force.
  • I have a Wii U, but I don't have those games. I have NSMBU, Nintendo Land, and Super Mario 3D World at the moment. Looking to get Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, and maybe a few others eventually, when I have the money to do so.
  • Used to play WoW a lot myself up until just after MoP, then my guild fell apart and I didn't feel like trying to find yet another replacement raid group/guild as I'd already done that several times since I started playing back in 05 or 06, whenever it was. Was an officer in one of the top guilds on my server prior to it…
  • I have so many games in my backlog it's ridiculous. Lately I've been playing a lot of Diablo III (never got my main character to max level). Probably go back to either Assassin's Creed or Half Life 2 after that. Haven't beaten either of those yet either. I missed out on a lot of games being a former WoW player and thus…
  • So many people confuse racism and stereotyping and it really annoys me. That's a big pet peeve of mine. People like that need a dictionary. Racism is the belief that one race is superior or inferior to another race in any aspect/way/shape/form because of their race. Stereotyping is saying something like Asian people eat a…
  • Not sure if this is still an issue or not, since this topic was originally posted a month ago, but here's my 2 cents being an overweight guy myself. You say you're still attracted to him, yet you later contradict that by implying (at least how I interpreted it) that you're not (when you said you'd be more attracted to him…
  • I went through a similar situation with my ex-girlfriend recently. Granted we weren't together as long as you and your boyfriend have been, but the problem was almost the same. She didn't want kids either and I do. At first I thought maybe she'd change her mind about it eventually, but after she kept mentioning it every…
  • Thanks! :-) I plan on starting B210K on Monday. Looking forward to it.
  • Well I never thought I'd be able to do something like this given that I've been mainly sedentary the majority of my life, but after 11 weeks I'm done! I finished W9D3 today. After not being to even run for 30 seconds back at the end of May, I'm now able to run for 30 minutes without stopping. I am amazed. Everyone who…
  • Woke up this morning and was at the lowest weight I had been in 2-3 years. I did W6D2 today and it went fine. Friday will be another "real test" as it is W6D3 (25 minutes of running). We'll see how that goes. Considering I was able to do the 20 minutes last Friday, I'm sure I'll be able to do the 25.
  • Can't believe I actually did W5D3 today without any breaks other than the warm-up/cool-down walks at the beginning and end. When I started back at the end of May I couldn't even run 30 seconds without stopping. Today I did 20 minutes. Wow. Looked ahead to next week's D3 and I have to do 25 minutes which I think I can…
  • I did W5D2 today. I was dreading trying to do 8 minutes of "running," but somehow I managed to get through it. That in of itself is amazing as when I started I could barely do 30 seconds. Not looking forward to Friday but I am hoping I can do the 20 minutes. That's the first major test for more as there are no walk breaks…
  • I did W4D2 today as well and it was much easier than W4D1 was. Not as exhausting as that was which is good. Not looking forward to next week (D2 & 3 of that)... I listen to podcasts when I'm doing this. It keeps your mind focused on the content of the audio instead of on running and thus you're less likely to over think it…
  • I did W4D1 today and man those 5 minute were exhausting. I was worn out at the end of that. But I feel okay now that I'm done with it and have showered and all. Glad tomorrow is a rest day for me.
  • Best of luck to you. I started a month ago as of Thursday this week and I did W3D1 today. I repeated W1 twice because I couldn't get through any of the days when I first started. Then the second week of it I couldn't get through all 3 days. Finally on the 3rd week of it (second repeat of W1), I managed to get through all 3…
  • Did W3D1 today. W2 last week was the first time I didn't have to repeat anything, so yay me. I was a bit apprehensive about going up to 3 minute runs for part of it as I snuck a peak at W3D1 before today, but when I got out there and did it I managed to push through it. It was tiring at the time and I could definitely feel…
  • Did W2D2 today, W2D1 was on Monday. Today was pretty good. I didn't feel completely exhausted when I finished which is a marked improvement from when I first started 3 weeks ago and couldn't even do all of W1D1. This is my 4th week technically, but I had to repeat W1 a couple of times before I felt ready to move on. W2 is…
  • Thanks. :) I don't blame you for repeating it. That was probably a wise decision on your part. Yeah I'm grateful that there's nothing to keep you from repeating other than yourself. Not like say if you were paying for a personal trainer, gym, or something along those lines. Then you'd have to pay more money the longer it…
  • I'm repeating W1 this week because I haven't finished 30 minutes for all 3 days of it yet, but I'm 2 for 2 this week so far. Friday will be 3 for 3. Today was the first time I wasn't completely exhausted when I finished, I was amazed. I even kicked the bed post when I got up in the middle of the night last night and it…
  • Maybe try running at a different time of day? Personally I run in the morning (6am-7am time frame) as it tends to be cooler outside. Or if you have to do it in the afternoon/evening, maybe wait til after 7pm after the sun starts to go down? That's what I would do anyways.
  • Best of luck. If you're having trouble maybe take a day or 2 off and then give it another go? I know that rest days help me recover.
  • Wow that employee at Sports Authority sounds like a jerk. It amazes me how many people get into positions of management when they have no clue how to appropriately deal with people. And yet the people that do know what to do generally don't get promoted. Go figure. Anyways, glad you were able to find what you were looking…
  • I wear glasses as well, but I leave them off when I run as I prefer to wear sunglasses normally. If they start getting fogged up or what not, I just take them off temporarily.
  • Just got done with my repeat of W1D3 (which technically was W2D3) and I did so in steady rain from Tropical Storm Andrea. Did the full 30 minutes for the 2nd time. Rain actually helped me stay cooler during the run portions.
  • I feel like that blog post could be written about me. I was out doing the run/walk of W1D2 (which technically was W2D2) and crossed paths with someone I hadn't seen before and she waved at me and I waved back and that was about it. She was clearly in much better shape than I am, but she didn't glare or anything which was…
  • I must be crazy. We're supposed to be getting a Tropical Storm up here sometime tomorrow, possibly when I normally run, but I'm going to do it anyways even if it's pouring rain. Why? Because I know if I take a day off I will get in the habit of that and lose my focus and not be able to get where I want and to what I want.…
